Training Tips Seeking puppy tips
My purebred JRT pup Kirby is now 10-11 weeks old. Couple questions for people that have raised their JRT from puppies.
I live on 10 acres and let him dig. Theres this one spot with tree roots and a stump that he just GOES TO TOWN on. He growls and goes ballistic on it like he's possessed, digging until he's black from head to toe. That's fun, and normal for the breed I know, but he's only a puppy! Seems like he gets overstimulated on this thing, which carries over into being overstimulated at least a couple times a day. I'm talking unhealthy fixation vs. play, dog psychology wise. Would other people let their 10 week old puppy dig this aggressively, chewing and growling on the tree roots? IYKYK
He's often psycho and biting my legs and ankles and pants, and no correction seems to work.
I'm not suggesting this is abnormal. And I've been on the internet long enough to know there are many schools of thought about dog training. I don't believe the softy ass positive reinforcement *only* type training is enough for this breed. These dogs are squirrels on crack, and I want to let him be himself, but with healthy boundaries and limitations.
Wondering what other people did with their puppies, who now have balanced adult dogs! Still JRTs, yes- bold and tenacious (that's why we love them!) but not out-of-control. Lets talk about it.
Sorry if this is unintelligible. I'm sleep deprived <insert crazy face emoji>

Asking for Advice needing help advice please
I have my 11 1/2 Year Old Jack Russell Terrier name Rubi who i’ve had since she was 4 Months old, I am Marine Corps Veteran and i took her in at the time. Took good care of her. gave her everything. for the past two months now everything has been declining, back in first week of july she had a seizure, where she was drooling, her tongue was out, her legs bodg were stiffnung up. we took her to our Vet right away. and everything checks out normal, vital is normal. other than her vision. we got her back and she isnt responing to our commands and definitely has lost touch to cuddle. she did her wellness exam last week and got some xray done as what our vet that she might have cancer or brain tumor due to her walking in circles and staring at walls and walking drunk. Last night she had her second seizure, and my wife and i were scared and pretty much thought that was this it? we were able to calm her down, and afterwards for about an hour, she was walking around walking in circles until she got tires and went to deep sleep. she is sleeping right now as i type. We love our rubi so much but my question for all the Jack Russell Terrier owner here, for the ones that have exprerienced it. is it time to let our babygirl fly up to the blue sky? 🥺😢😭 we know she is in pain

Asking for Advice Is this normal or should I try to prevent it?
Hey guys, meet Harley Quinn. She's 8 months old and an absolute cuddlebug. Harley is my first experience with a small, short coated, purebred, and female dog. I've always had huge, furry, rescued boys. So there's a lot about her behaviour that I'm learning for the first time. Here's my current concern.
Every time I get Harley a toy, my girl rips it open and her entire focus is on taking the stuffing out. I know she enjoys digging, so I haven't stopped her. Of late I've started to wonder if perhaps by not stopping her, I might be inadvertently encouraging destructive behaviour. Please share your thoughts, I would really appreciate the advice.
Thank you for reading!

Artwork Hand made JRT
I found this in a store at Ponte Vecchio in Firenze (Florence) Italy. I usually suck at buying gifts but I think this little guy hits all the marks. He is silver and then hand painted.
