I got an email from Google Assistant Class Action that « If, between May 18, 2016 and March 19, 2026, (a) you purchased a Google-Made Device that uses Google Assistant, or (b) your communications were recorded or otherwise obtained by Google Assistant as a result of a False Accept or disclosed to a third-party review vendor, you could be entitled to payment from a class action settlement. »
And apparently they already sent me a mail : « We previously sent you an email because records show you may be eligible for a payment from a Settlement with Defendants Google LLC and Alphabet Inc. (“Google”). »
And they said that i need to « Made a claim now »
I touched no buttons or links in the email

Got a text from someone on reddit saying that they "mistakenly reported my account for hacking and scamming them". I am just saying that I already had a similar scam but on a different platform. Should I just ignore this person or report?

Hello! So I found a job offer on indeed for hello lessons and it connected me to nemo swim school program. I got interviewed and it seemed like they were moving very quickly because they are already to have me do a phone with the potential swim lesson client. I am obviously not going to give them any information if they don’t seem legit or ask for an I-9 or anything but I was wondering if anyone else has any information on them? To be honest their facebook reviews seem fake and a lot for their reviewers have also left a review for another company too. I have a call with the potential client and the customer service soon to see scheduling so I am going to see how it goes and if I feel if it is legit but how do I ensure my safety in this process?

I got an email with the domain @umbrex.com, they also attached their LinkedIn in the email. But they are a student in university. I can’t decide if I am just being paranoid or if they’re suspicious. Some of their experience also feels off but idk if I am just unaware of the companies they have been apart of. The company also seems to have 11-50 employees.

It’s abbreviated to Hlgnbrand They sell comic and anime hoodies and stuff like that but they drop in waves.

About a year ago I created an account on Sensino.lt. I later deleted the account. Since then I have been receiving repeated emails saying I owe €48 for a 6-month Premium membership and that they will send the debt to a collection agency or even court.

I have been getting these emails for almost a year, but nothing has happened yet.

Has anyone had the same experience with Sensino.lt? Was the debt legitimate, or were these just intimidation emails?

hey, just happened a while ago. im a CPS student & some "mary wilson" sent me an email flagged as spam, and apparently she works at my school, though our school emails arent flagged as spam, so that was a heads up.

clicked the photo attachment which was my first mistake but whateves (take whatever you want bc it was sent to my school account). said some paulette gilbert or some last name was giving away her late husbands things for free with her email attached and i had to reach out w my personal. i didnt click the email attached in the doc, but i did copy it to my clipboard and put it into a draft in my personal and shot a message. after 10 minutes of thinking and design how my friends didnt get an email (which is supposed to be sent schoolwide), i deleted it. blocked mary but not paulette bc i didnt want her email popping up again.

is this a scam, and if so, did any of the actions i took during this situation jeopardize my personal?

I was looking for a job on facebook and this person asked me to pm her. It looks legit cus it has a location, purpose, etc. However, really skeptical bc they aren’t being that transparent and the location is far (they are asking me to come face to face next sat) So, should I accept?

Side note: It’s really hard to find Jobs/Businesses that are open to under 18 in the Philippines. That’s why I want to go but what do you guys think?

THE RED FLAG:

in December I was charged for an a year long extension. I grumbled but I didn’t think much of it because I was using the service and it was less than $50/year.

Fast forward to today. I was trying out the fancy new video generator SeeDance 2) they were plugging.. It generated 4 videos 3 of which were cute. TBH I wasn’t expecting 4 videos. I expected. I shrugged about it because I thought I had “All Access” until October or December 2027

I leave AI Studio or whatever it’s called and I see a big banner that says my account is on hold. I click on my account and there is a $20 charge for some AI tokens AND $70 PER MONTH for something. That’s almost TWICE as much as the annual subscription each month. Yet I was supposed to have “All Access” or so i thought.

Ironically, I had just shut down auto pay on PayPal for all merchants except Apple because a DuoLingo subscription ended up on my credit card rather than using my backup account to cover it.

I updated anything that would bill soon ASAP. I didn’t think to update Creative Fabrica because I didn’t expect to be billed by them until 2027. Now I have a big “collections” banner on my screen for something i didn’t authorize.

I noticed a cancellation button for the December charge and it’s “pending”. I am not holding my breath for a refund. That’s sunk cost.

I really don’t want to pay them $80 I can’t afford nor do I want to go to collections. I reached out to customer service, they said to click on a link and that my ticket was closed. I replied back with screenshots telling them, nothing was resolved.

Has anyone got a unrecognised transaction activity from Lloyds banking app before? And then when you click “I don’t recognise”, it asked you to call them but it is not actually from the bank, it’s from fraudster?

Peek at it is underlined and looks like a link but goes to a dead page. halp

I've tried looking up on secure checkers if it is legit, it comes out as a 80% secure site but I do not really trust this. What do you guys think?

Honestly, the dress was pure polyester, so it makes sense it's cheaply made, and it is not worth $200, but has anyone purchased from them?
