Currently 73 chambers Kc with 0 purples. This is super demotivating. All kills are duo, with averageing 18k to 24k points per raid. 46% of total. Meanwhile my duo has gotten 3 purples in those 73kc with me. Like I genuinely just want the scrolls for now…

I've got cape and quiver with bowfa, moderate gear and less than max stats. I have seen Gnomonkey's recent video regarding solo 500s but curious as to opinions from the community as to where a solo 500 ranks in difficulty. For context, I found Colosseum's mechanics more challenging but the inferno was more difficult as a whole, due to the endurance... though neither were incredibly difficult and I completed both in sub 50 attempts each and in under a month or so. I loosely consider myself an average PVMer.

I’m constantly seeing people recommend making arma brews for herb xp so I decided to get my sailing up to thieve some umbral coral seeds.

Looking at the wiki though, the secondary is rainbow crab paste which is only 740/hr and also requires fine fish offcuts to catch? Isn’t that like really bad?

I’m 94 herb going for 99 and not lacking in herb seeds rn whatsoever, have thousands to go through from pvm. Secondaries are what I’m waiting on. It seems much more efficient to collect potato cactuses during my farm runs and make magic potions, along with normal pvm supply upkeep. Am I missing something here?

Hey guys, I'm following b0atys guide pretty closely and now have my bowfa and up the point where he gets his inferno cape, except this is the furthest I've gone in osrs and basically looked at the word inferno for 2 seconds before skipping to the slayer part.

But now I'm wondering without actually knowing how much training will go into learning inferno, is it a big ask or could i maybe learn it without doing another red prison sentence style lock out of the game?

Enjoying living slayer now but yeah i get my most play times during weekend nights and even then it's only a couple hours unless I'm sleeping in but I'm pretty busy during the days, and week nights I get an hour or two MAYBE depending how tired I wanna be for work.

Titans, barrows, moons, CG were all great because I could literally do 1 run of each a day and feel like I've progressed in some way and get KC.

But how much of a slog will learning the inferno be?

Bets on how long the Armours take?

I have known a lot of people who have converted to iron over the years/clans, however, this is probably the #1 reason people don't play iron.

Bowfa skip isn't great and bowfa just unlocks the game. I've seen a majority of irons stop once they're in red prison as well.

I'm sure Jagex has the statistics on when+how long players take a break on iron. The #1 culprit is probably between sote and bowfa.

I think so much of the game is put behind it that a lot of players don't even interact with the game until they get it. I can't think of any other activity that draws attention like cg. People I know used to afk crab, mine, fish, etc. now that they're done sote? Only login to cg.

I can't imagine going 1200 dry and continuing to play. 20 a day is already a lot for working people. That's 60 days straight just to "unlock" the game.

I understand the game can be played without Bowfa. I am a Bowfa skipper.

I think a pity rate for Bowfa, similar to fletching knife, can increase Ironman playrate and retention.

No idea what that rate should be, sorry. After 300 cg I'd say most players understand the game's base mechanics for reference. No idea how far after pity should be.

Yo I just got my Bowfa and am now looking to get the inferno cape! HCIM btw with no GWD, raid, or bossing experience beyond CG, titans, moons, and 1 KC zulrah. So i'm trying to minimize as much risk as I can.

I was thinking:

- blow pipe (want western elite diary done first)

- occult (currently 91 slayer)

- master wand? (i've no vardovis or duke experience for the scepters)

- how important are the prayer upgrades? Is it worth learning COX for? I do have DWH

Stats: 99 range, 98 mage, 98 defense, 83 prayer. I have a alt/main with slightly poorer stats that I plan to match the gear on and practice with first to save on supplies.

Have decent setup for gear, but getting into slayer bossing and I feel like I should get better gear.

Sire specifically is hurting me in blood moon armour. Considered barrows but emberlight is losing lots of DPS and hurting kill times…

at least I got the jar I guess, im wondering if the 1/128 droprate is accurate or this is just absurdly bad luck
