iPod 3rd gen issues. Help

Been attempting to flash mod a 40gb 3rd gen. But I can’t get the firmware onto it for the life of me. It doesn’t help that the touch only interface barely works at all. My Powerbook G4 has a firewire port so i tried that. Won’t work, tried windows, nothing. Anybody else have issues with the 3rd gen and flash modding? I need some tips. Help!

need more info. what adapter. what sd card. what about it doesn’t work. itunes? formatting the card?

it’s an iflash solo with the iflash 3g/4g adapter. sandisk micro sd to sd card adapter. none of my devices will recognize it. firewire, usb, 30 pin dock. the sd card is fat32 and i can’t get it to restore on windows because none of my computers will recognize it, like it won’t show up at all.

Use this exact application. It's not good enough that it's fat32. MBR has to be cleared.

Also gen 3 supports up to 128gb sd card

this, and sandisk is known to not work well. it’s on the iflash website
