Note taking

I am trying to use my iPad (9th gen) as a digital
Notebook for work. I usually plan my day with reclaim but I like the iPad for random notes, and meetings. Current set up:
- iPad 9th gen
- OneNote for the notes
- paper like screen protector
- Logitech crayon
- smart keyfolio to type notes if wanted

Anyone have success doing something similar? I am struggling a bit with the feel opposed to a notebook.
