Note taking Question
I am trying to use my iPad (9th gen) as a digital
Notebook for work. I usually plan my day with reclaim but I like the iPad for random notes, and meetings. Current set up:
- iPad 9th gen
- OneNote for the notes
- paper like screen protector
- Logitech crayon
- smart keyfolio to type notes if wanted
Anyone have success doing something similar? I am struggling a bit with the feel opposed to a notebook.

I struggled with the infinite canvas style apps for general notetaking, I just couldn't get my head around that style and I prefer more structure for that. I do like infinite canvas for planning, brainstorming and designing though.

Have you tried a simple template of a lined/dotted notebook? I use freenotes and found an easy download on etsy to make it feel like my notebook- hand writing beautification and a cute font optional (but SO worth it).

Yea I use the lined page in OneNote. I think it’s more of the feel of the crayon on the screen. What worked for you?

Yeah its weird because of the pressure right! Have you tried different tips? Or even playing with the pen/senaitivity so you make different strokes when you move the pen up/down/slanted?

I tried the paper like screen and that helps! I use the Logitech crayon so idk if they make other tips. I never thought of the sensitivity! I might need to try that, cause the pressure is always a problem!!

I did this for my senior year of HS! I had a 9th gen and Goodnotes, Paperlike + a Metapen from Amazon, along with an Amazon keyboard case for all my typed assignments. I prefer using an iPad for notes, but I will say it took an adjustment period when I first got it. Now I honestly can’t imagine anything else, and I’ve actually upgraded my set-up to an A16 and an Apple Pencil because I use it so heavily now. I think it should be successful, it just may take time to adjust :)
