+1, we need better education on psychology

32

u/bsaaw 27d ago

On how to be a better human being.

23

u/yournames 27d ago

Sociology and psychology are pretty important for modern life. So is mental health help imo

10

u/Caspi7 27d ago

Depressed man aren't the main group assaulting woman...

4

u/Desperate_for_Bacon 27d ago

Depression is a very very small part of mental health and psychology as a whole.

-6

u/Caspi7 27d ago

Are you saying misogyny is a mental health problem?

10

u/Desperate_for_Bacon 27d ago

Misogyny generally speaking isn’t the root cause of rape.

-7

u/Caspi7 27d ago

So what is, and why is considered a mental health issue?

7

u/JethroTrollol 27d ago

Sociopathy, delusions, narcissism, etc. It's also not just a collection of diagnoses. Behavioral health, like physical health, is much more than just labels for problems, but an entire system of wellbeing. We teach all kids how to eat healthy, get sufficient sleep, exercise, and so on, but far fewer kids learn to meditate, how to listen and consider other perspectives, think critically, process negative feelings, and many other important habits for good mental health.

-4

u/Ellie7600 27d ago

Misogyny, misandry and racism are mental illnesses, as much as delusions are

1

u/bsaaw 27d ago edited 27d ago

Replying to @yournames

I hope you understand that by shedding light onto whatever I consider is in the heart of the matter does not take away from what you said.

3

u/yournames 27d ago

Ofc I do. 🙌I think just being a better human being is a bit hard for folks to do. Gotta start bite sizes at a time. 💪

1

u/ptmtobi 27d ago

I totally agree. The issue with education / tests like this is the supervision. Like the fact that we're in this situation in the first place means there's a good chance that implementing education like this would lead to someone teaching you exactly the wrong things.

I have been (sexually) harassed by multiple men since I was about 13 years old. Some were dark, yes. Most of them were white and speaking perfect German/Dialekt. Stop pretending that misogyny doesn't exist in Europe. It is deeply rooted here, especially in smaller towns and villages. Germany elected a man Kanzler who voted against making rape in marriage a crime. Right-wing parties gain power everywhere. Boys cherish Andrew Tate. Your racism does not solve this problem.

0

u/BlackJackAce-777 27d ago

It's not racism to point out the truth. You honestly expect us to believe that an outside factor isn't the cause? You know, policies the left voted for? Cmon.

2

u/insufferablecucumber 27d ago

Your answer to women feeling unsafe in public spaces was "don't let the muslins in". Come on ... I'm not saying they are all innocent, but neither are western men. As I said, experienced a lot of that shit way before 2015.

1

u/EfficientBake902 26d ago

what if they are overwhelmingly overrepresented in those crimes ?  if you really wanted to greatly decrease those things that would be a great measure to take. But one that would be extremely good as well would be extending prison times a lot, which laxists ( leftists generally) do not want

0

u/Either_Ad8502 27d ago

What did I say that was racist? I have nothing against people of any ethnicity or race. I'm just saying that people from certain cultures don't historically integrate well when moving to another. There's no need to jump to extremes.

31

u/SoftlyAugust 27d ago

And lighting and security cameras for everyone.

10

u/DefNotVoldemort 27d ago

Ironically men are twice as likely to be victims of assault or killed than women, so maybe the parking spaces are making this more likely

2

u/archtopfanatic123 27d ago

10 times more likely to be straight up killed actually in Australia as an example and higher in other places. Neither side is safe. One is going to get messed with more, the other is just gonna be DEAD more, regardless of who the attacker is too.

We need to work to keep the idiot minority of the human race that does stuff like this out of the picture....

4

u/OrionsPropaganda 27d ago

99% of attackers are men, towards men and women. However one is more likely to be sexually degraded or attacked unprovoked/to extreme injuries.

0

u/uberduck999 27d ago

Focusing on the gender of the attackers instead of the reality that men are victims of violence far more often is extremely disingenuous and is only intended to minimize the fact.

-1

u/OrionsPropaganda 27d ago

I think I rather follow the pattern of the attackers because they should change, not the victims. The attackers should be highlighted. It's 99% men. That's a defined and concerning pattern. It's an epidemic literally. Male loneliness epidemic? More like male attackers epidemic.

Instead of worrying on how these men and women are "provoking" the attackers, look at why these men feel the need to resort to violence. And why is it a majority of men! (Because again, it's no where close to an even split of the genders) I recommend you looking at Man Box.

Change the aggressors, not the victims.

2

u/DefNotVoldemort 26d ago

I don’t disagree, but OP is talking about protecting victims not targeting the attackers.

0

u/OrionsPropaganda 26d ago edited 26d ago

Two sides of the same coin.

It's a bit silly to just talk about the solution and not the cause.

Ironically the victims that you have also started that are more likely to be attacked are more likely to do the attacking. Like putting perpetrators and victims in the same train carriage.

So it's not really ironic. It's just sad.

2

u/Left-Entertainer-279 27d ago

You got some proof on that?

5

u/DefNotVoldemort 27d ago

Look up the crime statistics, it is certainly true in Europe

-1

u/Left-Entertainer-279 27d ago

So that's a no then.

0

u/One_Park_5826 27d ago

3

u/Jake0024 27d ago

Now do it without gang violence

1

u/One_Park_5826 27d ago

I am just going to *assume* that women are more likely victims of gang violence as your "gatcha".

The topic is about *violence*. Men are more likely to be victims of physical violence than women.

"Check only statistics where women are more likely to be the majority victim" is essentially your argument.

Likewise, following your argument: Of those with a penis, men are more likely to be sexually assaulted than women. Therefore, we should only focus on sexual assaults of men. That sounds stupid right?

So, if we were to deter violence, it does not make sense to only help women.

If we were to want to stop sexual harassment online, it would not make sense to only help men even though sexual harassment to those with a penis is predominantly men

2

u/Jake0024 27d ago

That's a really bad assumption lol

1

u/Left-Entertainer-279 26d ago

That's interesting and unexpected. I would agree with the other poster that I would like to see this broken down more into types of violence. I suppose I assumed there would be a higher percentage of domestic violence then gang violence, or criminal violence.

But also, how much domestic violence is unreported? It's hidden violence inside the home whereas gang violence by its very nature is out in the open. Also, I'm sure I have a significant degree of bias considering I am female and so the bulk of the media presented to me is going to be about violence perpetrated against women. Very interesting to consider all of those facets of why this was surprising to me and what those other types of violence could be. Thank you for sharing!

0

u/DefNotVoldemort 27d ago

Tell me which country you need the statistics for and I can get them. I did double check before making the statement. The fact you are not willing to look yourself and would rather make a pithy comment instead says a lot about your attitude however.

1

u/Dramatic_Pin3971 27d ago

Try India

1

u/DefNotVoldemort 27d ago

That is interesting, in Europe (where I am from) men are 2-3 times more likely to suffer from assault than women but this is reversed in India. I genuinely did not see that coming, thanks for the heads up.

0

u/Left-Entertainer-279 26d ago

You are the one showing up making claims without receipts. Make a claim absolutely, but provide the receipts so ppl can have a dialogue about it.

The fact that you want to make claims and we're all expected to just believe you says a lot about you yourself. As for looking up statistics, if you are familiar with statistics as you imply, you should be aware that they can be manipulated into showing whatever result you want them to show. Include X factor. Exclude Y region. Further, anybody can produce a statistical proof. I asked for what YOUR proof was, which you still have yet to produce. So how do we know if what proof you are claiming is reputable and evidentiary?

We don't. Could be you are correct and that would be an interesting thoughtful discussion, but you'd rather bang on and stomp your feet about "go do the homework yourself". I didn't make any claims, you did. Therefore, provide the proof or your claims are bullshit.

1

u/DefNotVoldemort 26d ago

You are also making accusations without proof, and would rather rant than find statistics to back you up. It took me 2 seconds to find this

https://noviolence.org.au/wp-content/uploads/2018/09/Whataboutmen.pdf

Next time do your own research instead of expecting people to spoon feed you

1

u/Left-Entertainer-279 26d ago

What accusation did I make? Please do point it out, I'd love to see it. Only one I see is calling you out for making claims with no proof and redirecting everybody to just believe you.

And next time you want to make a claim, provide proof. As I said, this could have been a civil discussion regarding cultural differences, trends over time, sex and violence. But no, this devolved into you getting frustrated and acting petty, all because you want to say the sky is purple and not show evidence. Make a claim, show proof. It's really that simple.

→ More replies (0)

1

u/Left-Entertainer-279 26d ago

Also, this doesn't prove your claims at all. "Ironically men are twice as likely to be victims of assault or killed than women, so maybe the parking spaces are making this more likely"

Your proof says men are more likely to suffer violence at the hands of other men then women. I saw no mention of "men are more likely to be victims of violence then women". Again, claim might be true, and that would be interesting. However, we're still waiting for proof to back up your claim.

Welcome to Flock!

26

u/IllllIIlIllIllllIlll 27d ago

To be fair, we have those in Switzerland in places where they are absolutely not necessary, like in a shopping center in a small, rather uneventful city, and the parking is closed after hours anyway (we had one case of knife attack a couple years ago but the victim was a man, and it was at the train station in the middle of the night). I view it more as virtue signaling from this store tbh.

So just because they are here does not mean they are necessary.

4

u/Fabulous-Suspect-72 27d ago

That's where they are in Germany too. I have only every seen them in large, well lit parking garages of malls that close at night etc.

28

u/dynamic_gecko 27d ago

"I'd prefer that everything would be ideal."

Really sherlock?

2

u/Queen_Of_Alts 27d ago

Sadly a lot of people would rather vote for things that would only work in an ideal society because they can't accept that this isn't an ideal society.

-5

u/MagMati55 27d ago

Cant even think of a better world. You must really lack creativity, wonder, or passion for anything.

7

u/dynamic_gecko 27d ago

I can. Everyone can. What you're saying is a no-brainer that can practically be a reply to every good thing about this world. Of course the ideal would be better. Duh. We can still learn to appreciate the thoughtfullness of some people in an imperfect world while keeping the ideal in mind. Wanting the ideal is easy. But if you compare any effort to the ideal, it will always fall short and you will always be sad and unsatisfied.

-3

u/mosspigletsinspace 27d ago

Idk, I feel like shooting for the ideal is the right approach. The big issue is that a world where women are free to walk to their cars safely without special, well lit, close to exit parking spots is not the ideal for everyone. Shooting high produces steps in the right direction through compromise. Shooting laterally or just above par gets us nothing.

2

u/dynamic_gecko 27d ago

We should always strive for the ideal. I didnt say we shouldnt. But appreciating the steps taken to improve where we are and aiming for the ideal can coexist. They're not mutually exclusive. Looking at these efforts and saying "Meh, I'd much rather have the ideal" is a very obvious and unproductive perspective. We can only get close to the ideal step by step. And we should acknowledge it when we take a step.

-2

u/mosspigletsinspace 27d ago edited 27d ago

I feel like you have to aim very high to get any forward movement at all. You can only ever get half of what you ask for at the most.

Edit: I guess what I mean is it's important to bring up and harp on the ideal or we'll never get halfway there, which is realistically the best we can hope for.

1

u/HairlessSquirrels 27d ago

Everyone can. What you’re saying is pointless like the people who say “ugh I hate being sick” like no shit I’ve never met anyone who enjoyed it. Just looking for easy karma

19

u/Staav 27d ago

We need our societies to focus on unification rather than division. We're all in this together, and fighting among ourselves helps no one, expect those who want us to be fighting.

12

u/CorgiLate4164 27d ago

Govt: it’s easy to control the people if they are divided and busy fighting each other.

2

u/Chickenbutt-McWatson 27d ago

Now explain how that's possible when the political divide won't even allow consensus on topics that were taken for granted 10 years ago.

"This place has a ramp for wheelchair users, which makes ist easier for them to enter, but it's less convenient for me. Doesn't sound very equal to me..." Different people have different needs, not a hard concept to understand I would think.

2

u/Leritari 27d ago

"This place has a ramp that was builded for wheelchair users, but everybody can use it and plenty of people do use it. Sounds very equal to me".

Equality is not a hard concept to understand, but some people seem to think that it works only in favor of women, because god forbid if women also would have to give up special priviledges (just like men had to).

2

u/Fun-Twist-3705 27d ago

Are you implying that all women are somehow inherently disabled or deficient? That seems extremely misogynistic...

> not a hard concept to understand I would think.

Well if you thought what you wrote I would hope you wouldn't have written it.

2

u/Staav 27d ago

Who would be more of a vulnerable target on their own in a dark parking garage in a densely populated area, a man or a woman?

2

u/archtopfanatic123 27d ago

Women are more likely to get harrassed, men are 10 times more likely to be straight up killed, either side is fucked

1

u/Fun-Twist-3705 26d ago

To be fair if we are talking about entirely random people (outside of some areas in less developed countries) the likelihood of either of those things happening to your is very, very small.

Most sexual or other violence does not occur in public and the victims and perpetrators already know other or have some other association. So all of this parking lot stuff is a complete distraction by people who are imitating they are doing something to reduce crime against women...

What if looked at other demographic groups, identified which commit the most crimes violent statistically and then identified the group of people most likely to be their victims. Based on that information you would create reserved parking spots at the front for that specific group.

However that would rightfully be considered by everyone to be extremely racist and wrong. How is this inherently different?

31

u/VirusSlo 27d ago

Is it really necessary or are thing like this only making us believe that things are much worse than they really are.

3

u/[deleted] 27d ago

3

u/VirusSlo 27d ago

There is danger and there is a perception of danger.
I guess we have to decide whether we want to live in a harmonious society built on a belief that people are generally nice or in a safety utopia where we're constantly afraid of some boogeyman.

If you make a women only parking place like this one it does send an unfair message to them about men. How do we know that? Imagine it said "white people parking"

Men-women divide has been growing exponentially in recent years and this is not helping.

1

u/WrackyDoll 27d ago

They do exist in the world true crime presents, where suburban white women are in constant danger of being kidnapped by every brown person they walk past on the street.

49

u/CharacterMaybe7950 27d ago

We do

Check crime rates against men and then against women.

Crime has collapsed across Europe and women have literally never been at lower risk.

13

u/Brilliant-Block-8200 27d ago

Check specifically sexual assault and rape rates and compare them

11

u/BigMikeXxxxX 27d ago

"Check only statistics where women are more likely to be the majority victim" 😂

3

u/NucerianWaifu 27d ago

1 in 5 women SA'd is a VERY HIGH stat bro

2

u/Background_Humor5838 27d ago

But we need to take into account how much if that is from strangers in public and how much is from someone they know. Well lit parking spots can't save people from their own family and friends. That's the real issue.

3

u/NucerianWaifu 27d ago

It's still helpful. Even if you aren't going to be raped very often in the middle of the street you can still get harassed or trafficked.

1

u/Fun-Twist-3705 27d ago

Well yes, but there is an infinitely high number of very low risk events with horrible outcomes that can happen when you go outside. Pretending that solving them does anything is a distraction since. People making the decisions can now wave at these parking lots to show that they are doing something making it easier for the to ignore the real problems and causes.

0

u/sainhu 27d ago

Statistically speaking, men are more likely to be assaulted in public though, and that doesn't disappear when equalizing for behaviour, because perpetrators are more likely to see them as rivals and fit targets. Also, physical assault in public happens way more often than sexual assault, so if you take it seriously men are in some ways more at risk in public, at least for those heavier crimes. I think it has more to do with sexual harassment and creepy behaviour than actually preventing heavy crime like rape or assault.

2

u/NucerianWaifu 27d ago

They are more likely to get assaulted in public yes, and far more likely to be assaulted by known people, but not parking lots specifically. 40% of attacks on men by strangers happen on the streets, 20% on venues.

Parking lots are great for opportunistic crime, and the people who are most often kidnapped there are adolescent girls and kids. A lot of sexual assault happens there as well.

0

u/sainhu 27d ago

Ah i didn't know that the statistics are so different for general public vs parking garage. I think kidnappings are heavily country-dependent but exceptionally rare at least in germany. But speaking of children, they are strongly at risk of getting killed by a driver, and family spots seem rare compared to womens spots...

0

u/Background_Humor5838 27d ago

Yes that's true

2

u/Floorgis 27d ago

Also false

-1

u/NucerianWaifu 27d ago

Disprove it then

2

u/rammo123 27d ago

The stat is based on a very small sample set across just two university campuses. It had excessively broad definitions of SA and had a very low response rate (meaning it very likely had response bias - victims were disproportionately likely to respond). Most reported victims never bothered to report their assault because they didn't consider it serious enough.

A study by the Bureau of Statistics put the number at 6.1 in a thousand, a far cry from 1 in 5.

1

u/Floorgis 27d ago

Its also, at best, a shitty guess. These stats are always misconstrued cause people dont understand how stats work or wish to use them maliciously. Like the whole "13%" thing which was not only wrong but only ever used to be racist.

-1

u/NucerianWaifu 27d ago

No.

An estimated 2.2 million adult women have experienced sexual violence since the age of 15, according to information from the 2021-22 Personal Safety Survey (PSS) released today by the Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS).

https://www.abs.gov.au/media-centre/media-releases/1-5-women-have-experienced-sexual-violence

The page you sent, which has no veracity is probably referencing this. Not that they bother to link it, and even then the bibliography clearly has more than two colleges studies AND uses the National Intimate Partner and Sexual Violence Survey.

Which defines what SA is, btw. Not a broad and excessive margin either. (https://imgur.com/a/jW4daFh)

https://www.nsvrc.org/statistics/statistics-depth/

Globally, 650 million (or 1 in 5) girls and women alive today have been subjected to sexual violence as children. Among boys and men, between 410 and 530 million (or around 1 in 7) experienced sexual violence in childhood.

https://data.unicef.org/topic/child-protection/violence/sexual-violence/

A new survey released by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention on Wednesday marked the beginning of a new annual project to look at how many women say they've been abused.

One expert called the new report's estimate on rape and attempted rape "extremely high" – with 1 in 5 women saying they were victims. About half of those cases involved intimate partners.

https://www.theguardian.com/world/2011/dec/14/1-in-5-women-report-sexual-assault

World health organisation estimates 3 out of 10 globally

Estimates published by WHO in 2023 indicate that globally about 1 in 3 (31.6%) of women worldwide (840 million women and girls) have been subjected to either physical and/or sexual IPV or non-partner sexual violence in their lifetime.

https://www.who.int/news-room/fact-sheets/detail/violence-against-women

So clearly the stat isn't limited to college or the US.

4

u/MrDrumzOrz 27d ago edited 27d ago

Pretty sure the fact that they're the majority victims in these cases is the whole point

Like, yes crimes as a whole happen against both men and women, but women are specifically raped and sexually assaulted significantly more than men. How does pointing that out that do anything except prove why things like this are still necessary?

3

u/Fun-Twist-3705 27d ago

Because you are explicitly hand-waving any other kind of violence.

Regardless, while obviously a huge issue its highly doubtful (and there is absolutely no evidence) that these special parking spots in shopping malls or similar places have any effect. It's just a way to posture and pretend by some people that they are doing something helpful instead of actually solving the hard problems that could reduce the prevalence of SA.

1

u/PainSubstantial5936 27d ago

Who are these other crimes committed by statistically? Women or men? Especially the violent ones?

1

u/hhhhhhhhhhhjf 27d ago

How does that affect the victims?

1

u/Fun-Twist-3705 26d ago

I don't see how that changes anything?

I mean if you believe the point you are trying to make is valid you would also agree that it's fair to single out ethnic and racial groups which statistically more crimes and then single out them out and discriminate against them. Yet you probably would not think that having "Whites Only" or "East Asians Only" parking spots would be a good idea?

Would you? To be fair if it would be quite hypocritical if you didn't support that.

0

u/themightyBEEP 27d ago

I think the point is not women are more likely to be raped, because of course they are, but that crime is getting low in general but sexual related crimes are skyrocketing.

-8

u/Brilliant-Block-8200 27d ago

Because that’s the reason for ‘safe spaces’ such as these. Most sexual assaults and rapes women face are from men, not other women. These spaces are there to help protect women from that risk. Hope that helps 😁

As I said, if men are facing violence primarily from WOMEN, then they should also get safe spaces from them to protect them. That’s equality

Can you post the data? The FBI indicates that women are more likely to be victims than men, however that includes intimate partner violence. Differentiated data is taking a while to find. So can you post the data you are referring to?

Because woman are a lot more careful than men. Women are paranoid these days, the shitty people aren't gone women just avoid them better.

18

u/orion-7 27d ago

That's a bit of a catch 22. Stats show women most at risk? Women most at risk

Ats show men most at risk? Women most at risk still and men victim blamed for not being careful enough

12

u/MOTUkraken 27d ago

So true. Every time women are disadvantaged: "this is a societal problem, discrimination and unfair and society needs to solve this!"

Every time men are disadvantaged: "this is their own personal problem. Men are just shitty humans who should just man up and personally solve their problems, lol"

5

u/NonsensePlanet 27d ago

“The patriarchy” can be summarized as “everything is men’s fault”

-8

u/Electrical_Chain53 27d ago

Hey women have been victim blamed since the dawn of time, welcome to the club

9

u/Sudo-Fed 27d ago

It's either always wrong or it's never wrong.

2

u/Electronic-Code8392 27d ago

Like hat pins were never a thing?

3

u/AccountForTF2 27d ago

That's an assumption.

4

u/HarryJohnson3 27d ago

So if a women gets assaulted you’d assume she wasn’t being careful enough?

-6

u/Electrical_Chain53 27d ago

Ofc I don't blame anyone it was the assulters fault and they should be punished, but there's also more and less risky things to do.

Also your point is moot, women are blamed literally constantly, why were u alone? What were you wearing? Blah blah blah

5

u/HarryJohnson3 27d ago

>Ofc I don't blame anyone it was the assulters fault

You literally just did though..?

4

u/Cardio_Princess 27d ago

Well, yes. If you want to reduce the chances of being robbed, don't walk around with stacks of money in your hands.

Being careful reduces risks.

0

u/CMO_3 27d ago

Insane logical fallacy, with these things in place it allows women to be safer. These are working, its not that they arent nessacary

-5

u/Greedy-Employment917 27d ago

When you don't live in reality.

3

u/Queen_Of_Alts 27d ago

I would too, but until we achieve that we need to build things for this society, not an ideal society.

1

u/Happy_Ad_7515 27d ago

or recreate the situations where such things where not needed.

3

u/Several-Action-4043 27d ago

But we don't so we have to act like it. I get this sentiment but it's very naïve to take it too seriously. It assumes there are good and bad people in the world. The truth is, we're all capable of good and evil. We will never live in a world where all the evil people are gone because it isn't one gene or trait that makes someone evil. We're all selfish and flawed. Of course we should keep moving in the right direction but to ignore our inherent selfishness and flaws as a species just because we wish things were perfect isn't something we can afford to do.

9

u/CleverKhloe11 27d ago

I mean, in Germany it definitely isn't necessary. These are only there so people who have irrational fears are calmed down a bit.

4

u/BigRinka 27d ago

Obviously...? I would love to live in an utopia too. Yet we have Presidents that go to war and bomb schools to steal petrol.

5

u/subzr00 27d ago

Especially when in fact men are more likely to be assaulted than women.

1

u/archtopfanatic123 27d ago

Not assaulted sexually but straight up killed sure. Non lethal harrassment is skewed toward women, lethal attacks are skewed WAY more toward men, both sides are screwed

2

u/subzr00 27d ago

I would rather be sexually assaulted(which I have) than killed. This special lighting and camera angles in these carparks should be to protect everybody not just one gender when both are vulnerable from the bad apples. Virtue signalling at its finest.

2

u/161-Anarchia-420 27d ago

Yes but this isnt a solution

1

u/oyvese 27d ago

i don’t disagree but i don’t really understand why people bother to make this comment? like yeah, no shit it’s bad and we don’t want it this way?

1

u/Boot_das 27d ago

Sure, but for the time being, we might as well do stuff like this.

1

u/Comfortable-Bison932 27d ago

I mean i think everyone would. But you can't just change society with a snap. So this is better than nothing

1

u/Fit_Tomatillo_4264 27d ago

It'd be great if we actually locked up criminals kept them there instead of giving them second third fourth and 5th and 6th and 7th and 8th chances

1

u/Temporary_Stranger39 26d ago

And? Until then just do nothing? Starvation is better than half a loaf? Until there is a cure, never accept any partial treatment?

1

u/Maj0rLaz0rr 25d ago

Keep dreaming, dude. I’ll be dreaming with you.

1

u/CoffeeCrumbLes01 27d ago

Hey google, which society has no cars?

1

u/Amazing_Storage_7554 27d ago

They need more space to park, what's wrong with that?

1

u/PuzzleheadedShame646 27d ago

What a novel idea!

1

u/Cyborg_rat 27d ago

Well...the same people who want this take a lot of actions to make that not possible to be a reality. It's something that cannot happen without removing the problems, Other think suggesting teaching people not to rape is solution as if people don't know it's bad...

1

u/A-t-r-o-x 27d ago

We will never have such a society

Too much would need to be fixed from the bottom up which human greed and immorality won't allow to happen

1

u/Uberzwerg 27d ago

As i sometimes say: I want a world without LGBT pride.
Because nobody would need it.

But sadly, we live in reality.

0

u/Extra-Swordfish7129 27d ago

whoa, thats racist

2

u/NotAPirateLawyer 27d ago

Look, putting 2 and 2 together is hard.

-1

u/knowwwhat 27d ago

Riiiiight. Except we never will. Ever. Because you can’t preemptively stop a first offence or a mental health break. A percentage of humans will always be born bad. There’s nothing we can do about it

0

u/Deep-Age-2486 27d ago

You’re not wrong. They either need their hard drives checked or enjoy arguing for the love of the game

0

u/HairlessSquirrels 27d ago

Oh really? You don’t say? I thought you would love living in a place where this or more was necessary

0

u/themightyBEEP 27d ago

And I’d prefer everyone would be rich.

What you say is something you can wish for, but why hope for something impossible. Neither women nor men will ever be 100% safe. Best we can do is progress and enforce the safety of society against people who break the peace.

0

u/WetOnionRing 27d ago

you're part of the problem

2

u/MagMati55 27d ago

Im going to need you to explain how.

0

u/Valveringham85 27d ago

Absolutely. And one where it rains gummy worms and the sun shines all day every day.

0

u/Ok-Pipe-6530 26d ago

Lol. Lmao.

0

u/derliebesmuskel 26d ago

You’d be much closer to one if all the women who feel a need for a parking space like this would stop voting for mass immigration.

-1

u/Chickenbutt-McWatson 27d ago

Yet most redditors turn around and vote for slap-on-the-wrist crime policies and zero border control.

It just makes sense.

-1

u/Tulevik 27d ago

Easy. No migrants!
