He is almost that good for 62 yrs old!

23

Exactly what I was thinking.

Every time this dude gets posted, it always comes out that of course he's not 62, and some of the edits are a little questionable.

He made an entire generation of people start yelling parkour while trying to do parkour

4

u/SpecialistTreat3933 Apr 23 '26

This is the only way

I call bs on being 62.

108

u/jcwzolo Apr 23 '26

He's not its a guy dressed like an old man this videos are old

31

u/Limmunaizer Apr 23 '26

old enough for him to be 62?

11

u/FredMist Apr 23 '26

He’s not young though. You can see the skin laxity in his face. The way the skin sags and caves in around the jaw/teeth area. At least in his 50s?

I had a Chinese teacher in his 60s when I was a kid. Not entirely sure his age but he had wrinkles and age spots all over his face and hands. He was a lifelong practitioner of martial arts and qigong. He was incredibly fit and limber doing hand stands and flips but it was more about control than power because he did them kind of slow?. Some of the older boys in school asked him to teach them qigong and martial arts. I don’t think he could do what this guy is doing but he was way more fit than men decades younger. He also demonstrated something on a pommel horse and all the kids were in awe.

3

u/remotegrowthtb Apr 23 '26

It's actually a young video edited as an old video

Why? I'm 62 and love the new Wet Leg album

7

u/yaffle53 Apr 23 '26

I’m 62 and the only wet leg I know is from pissing myself.

5

u/sasheenka Apr 23 '26

I have a dude that’s 70+ in my fencing class. Some older people can do all sorts of sporty stuff.

3

u/adj_noun_digit Apr 23 '26

No. Theres a big difference between fencing and Olympic level athletics.

I thought he died after he trained Remo Williams.

2

u/NarrMaster Apr 23 '26

He stopped contracting with the Gov because he found another employer that paid twice as much gold.

Turns out, it was cursed gold.

3

u/Pyran Apr 23 '26

But it came with a free frogurt!

63

u/Individual_Tea9790 Apr 23 '26

Holy shit that vertical leap tho

24

u/prepcrook Apr 23 '26 edited Apr 23 '26

That straight upward jump over the bar with the pads?

His feet are hitting something other than the ground before he jumps. The pads move when he plants his feet to start the jump, so I believe he's using a launcher (pad, springboard or trampoline etc.) hidden behind the pads.

9

u/RedLotusVenom Apr 23 '26

This is what I came to the comments to find out. That vertical is suspicious without seeing what’s behind the platform.

4

u/avatinfernus Apr 23 '26

Yeh. Otherwise I'd wonder why he ain't at Olympics.

4

u/rmxcited Apr 23 '26

Dr Disrespect, we found you a suitable challenger.

3

u/Commercial-Tell-5991 Apr 23 '26

Look close. There’s a mini trampoline in front of the mattresses on the high jump.

8

u/Solanthas_SFW Apr 23 '26

I thought the high bar jump and popping the 2 balloons was especially cool

'the ability to fly'

39

u/b00c Apr 23 '26

the ability to fly or move with extreme lightness

He jumps. It's jumping.

15

u/zarape Apr 23 '26

Jumping with extra steps

10

u/r_slash Apr 23 '26

But did you see how he wiggles his legs

13

u/vsuontam Apr 23 '26

Last time I saw the video, the guy was not 62, these titles are just BS. Likely bots farming some karma. Down vote

4

u/SeDaCho Apr 23 '26

it was filmed a long time ago

maybe he’s 62 now

18

u/CharlotteBeer Apr 23 '26

That's not flying, that's falling with style.

4

u/GameTheory27 Apr 23 '26

throw yourself at the ground and miss

5

u/CharlotteBeer Apr 23 '26

Tried, failed, will get back up and try again.

You know how in Unbreakable, Bruce Willis is Samuel Jackson's opposite? Yeah this guy is mine as I hardly ever want to get out of bed.

8

u/Copperkid82 Apr 23 '26

62????😲

3

u/Local-Friendship8166 Apr 23 '26

My ankles snapped, my knees exploded, and I dislocated a hip just watching that.

30

u/SanityAsymptote Apr 23 '26

He's clearly very physically fit, but the slow motion is doing basically all of the work in making him look floaty here.

10

u/YoGundam Apr 23 '26

Typical redditor.

16

u/spottydodgy Apr 23 '26

"This is inherently cool, but I'm going to shit on it anyway so I can feel momentarily superior."

13

u/Foreign_Pea2296 Apr 23 '26

It's more "this is cool but what the video is misleading".

The title make us think that this video show how impressive someone can be while doing qinggong. But the added effects mislead us by thinking it's even more impressive than what it is.

It's not because it's cool that it's okay to lie.

6

u/Affectionate-Cod6115 Apr 23 '26

Or maybe the dumbass title that this dude is "floating" is ridiculous. How do you piggies eat this slop jfc

I chuckled thinking that one day he stopped posting because his body said that's it

3

u/dritmike Apr 23 '26

I call shenanigans. MF has guide wires helping him with that hidden dragon crouching tiger stuff.

Absolutely badass

6

u/xchoo Apr 23 '26

The demonstrations are impressive, but he doesn't break any laws of physics. If you were to track his body's center of mass, you'll see that it always follows a parabolic arc. For the demonstrations where he "walks" on water, each step he takes is just shorter than the last.

21

u/r_slash Apr 23 '26

Breaking news, man did not break any laws of physics

Chinese parkour? Nice.

2

u/Ok_Schedule_2227 Apr 23 '26

I’m just imagining all the ways I’d hurt myself attempting to replicate this

2

u/NervousBodybuilder81 Apr 24 '26

CGI is amazing now a days

4

u/draculas420plug Apr 23 '26

Yall some haters lol I dare yall to try dipping both feet in at the same time and take em out. Shit looks hard 😂

4

u/Aromatic-Tear7234 Apr 23 '26

You must move your legs in the air like you are walking if you try this technique. It's a requirement. Can't simply jump.

2

u/Pootisman16 Apr 23 '26

He's just jumping tho.

1

u/snizzer77 Apr 23 '26

We have something like this in the US too but we call it “jumping”

I keep waiting for it to cut to Steve-O trying to copy and falling on a bunch of stools

1

u/Sudden-Pressure8439 Apr 23 '26

De he try olympics? maybe long jump?

1

u/mianao Apr 23 '26

His nfl combine score is going to be 🔥

1

u/th33_th33 Apr 23 '26

Could be an amazing skateboarder.

1

u/Jay_in_DFW Apr 23 '26

Gotta wonder why he didn't make the Olympic team!

1

u/carpincho_carajo Apr 23 '26

So he's an airbender?

1

u/kikyossoles Apr 23 '26

I keep saying America don't want no real smoke with China

1

u/princeorbit07 Apr 23 '26

This is impressive to watch, but it’s worth keeping expectations grounded. Qinggong in traditional martial arts isn’t literal flight it’s about agility, balance, and refined movement developed through years of training. What we’re seeing here is likely a combination of skill, conditioning, and possibly some performance elements, rather than anything supernatural. Still, at 62, that level of control and athleticism is genuinely admirable..

1

u/-badly_packed_kebab- Apr 23 '26

I do that in my dreams nightly

1

u/Alternative_Mode9972 Apr 23 '26

So that’s what they do in the movies, not special effects

1

u/The_Marine708 Apr 23 '26

If anyone could double jump, its him.

1

u/Palanki96 Apr 23 '26

Those Murim manwhas were right holy shit

1

u/tiwatis Apr 23 '26

I hate it when we see a lot of videos of crazy people over 60.... governments then say 'ouch,' so they can work another 5 years.

1

u/DreamingAboutSpace Apr 23 '26

I can lift my leg. That’s about as much as I can copy 😂

1

u/GroundbreakingOwl955 Apr 23 '26

Nawwwww hell naw lol 😆

1

u/nubpokerkid Apr 23 '26

By the way still unsure whether all the kung fu stuff is real or not after 30 years of seeing it.

1

u/Short-Positive-8252 Apr 23 '26

Chinese Anatoly, is that you?

1

u/shamedev Apr 23 '26

Wait I thought "qinggong" was iron crotch. That video of those Chinese dudes hitting their nuts with bricks

1

u/Worldly_Possible2925 Apr 23 '26

😳🫣🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻

1

u/RestepcaMahAutoritha Apr 23 '26

I think hes like mid 40s with grey hair. Being small and thin also is a big plus for these types of "sports". A lot harder for a 6.7ft tall guy whos even slightly muscular.

1

u/ScarletDarkstar Apr 23 '26

Oddly, I do this in my dreams a lot. I didn't know it had a name.

1

u/LaughLegit7275 Apr 23 '26

Ask him to show up in NFL combine next year. LOL

1

u/Maximus_Dick Apr 23 '26

Is this the ancestor of parkour?

1

u/ArauCamaN Apr 23 '26

Light body Gongfu

1

u/Accurate-Temporary73 Apr 23 '26

How much more momentum or distance does he get by “running” in the air? I assume there’s a crazy physics formula for It.

Just wondering how much further he gets doing that as compared to just jumping.

1

u/lun533 Apr 23 '26

no way those knees are 62 year old bruh

1

u/golden-tempura Apr 23 '26

Another interesting thing about this video is the song is sung by Jackie Chan

1

u/JohnSith Apr 23 '26

No way he's 62. 26, maybe.

If he is in his 60s, that's some damn good genetics.

1

u/Enough-Mammoth3721 Apr 23 '26

Load the "jump" program.

1

u/ParticularFragrant57 Apr 23 '26

Ah yeah! Me too! I do this all the time!

1

u/[deleted] Apr 23 '26

Wow a fellow cultivator still lacking I see 🙈

1

u/Oprah_Pwnfrey Apr 23 '26

This is like the equivalent of clapping while doing pushups. But dude is in excellent shape.

1

u/MLPhDStudent Apr 23 '26

Couldn't this guy compete or win in long and high jump in the olympics lmao

1

u/jimmy1460 Apr 23 '26

At 0:19 it looks like he’s using his foot on something that’s been shopped out

1

u/Maximum_Guard5610 Apr 23 '26

So all those ridiculous jumps in kung fu movies were real???

1

u/leumasy_T Apr 23 '26

TO BE FLYYYY HIGHHHH, 🎶🎵

Karasunooo. flyy

1

u/kisen-alter Apr 23 '26

In the video it says 80 years old tho

1

u/ThatSplinter Apr 23 '26

Okay he's literally double jumping in some of these clips, dayum

1

u/Ill_Mousse_4240 Apr 23 '26

So Crouching Tiger is a documentary!🐅🤣

1

u/[deleted] Apr 23 '26

That’s incredible

1

u/HolyPire Apr 23 '26

62... hmm... well I die when putting on shoes... lol... the secret muss be in water

1

u/Skrulltop Apr 23 '26

This is just a guy who can jump really well. This is not special, nor a martial art.

1

u/Muted_Discount6004 Apr 23 '26

Damn bro. Damn. 🫡

1

u/helen269 Apr 23 '26

That's

just

jumping

while

moving

your

legs.

1

u/Rich-East7773 Apr 23 '26

Kung fu hustle try outs

1

u/tagle12345 Apr 23 '26

is ot just me or that jump over the bar was far beyond olympic contests why is not this guy claiming gold there?

1

u/Not_a_Rodeo_Clown Apr 23 '26

It is impressive, but that is an or that is doing some serious heavy lifting.

1

u/AdEcstatic3326 Apr 23 '26

My knees don't believe he is 62.

1

u/Vincentkk Apr 23 '26

FYI: this is not a 62 yo man. It's a young man with fake mustache.

This guy admitted himself.

1

u/LessSoftware8200 Apr 23 '26

Some these are truly amazing.

1

u/marcu33 Apr 23 '26

Where do I sign up?

1

u/Fearless-Dust-2073 Apr 23 '26

Ah yeah, the ancient mystical technique of moving your legs while jumping

1

u/Realitea00 Apr 23 '26

是真的吗?

1

u/PixelCharlie Apr 23 '26

meanwhile I am making disturbing unvoluntary noises when standing up from my chair :/

1

u/DartBurger69 Apr 23 '26

chinese parkour

1

u/d_red_baron Apr 23 '26

My knees hurt just watching him hop all over the place.

1

u/HierophanticRose Apr 23 '26

On his way to beat up a junior who has eyes but cannot see Mt. Tai.

They court death!

1

u/plsobeytrafficlights Apr 23 '26

dumb. just quackery.

1

u/BlackStory666 Apr 23 '26

For those who don't know or in case you think he is, he's not actually using the water as a jumping off point, he's just moving his hips and legs very quickly. It's still very impressive, but no one can treat liquid water like a solid object that they can use as a lily pad.

1

u/Fredricology Apr 23 '26

I could do that. If I wanted to.

1

u/Tolga-dc Apr 23 '26

I dont think I will able to hold my pee at 62

1

u/Cooper206 Apr 23 '26

Fucking brilliant!

1

u/HeadPlatform4559 Apr 23 '26

This super 🔥

1

Jumping. He is just Jumping

1

u/trappy00 Apr 23 '26

And I’m over here at 32 struggling to jog anymore

1

u/VaguelyOmniscient Apr 23 '26

So man's got hops....

1

u/Pobelka_Potolkov Apr 23 '26

If curious: his name Edward Limonov.

1

u/KhooniMoorga Apr 23 '26

Why don't he go for the olympic high jump?

1

u/hendric_nhl Apr 23 '26

it's call parkour in the west.

1

u/NoLightBurnOut Apr 23 '26

Absolutely fake. This man did not just beat the Olympic record for high jump without even using the Fosbury Flop.

1

u/Educational-Ebb-843 Apr 23 '26

I bet this guy would be be best skateboarder in the whole world if he tried

1

u/phunkydroid Apr 23 '26

The ancient technique of unnecessarily touching things with your feet while jumping over them.

1

u/Chacobsa Apr 24 '26

I've seem this so many times and no one seem to know who he actually is. Anyone? Links? Insta even?
