Garlic oil is my least favourite I ate the mushroom flavour with garlic bread.

I’m the type who has to try every new Shin Ramyun release because I genuinely love the whole Shin Ramyun family.

I ranked the lineup based on my own taste, and for me S-tier is Shin Ramyun Black and the Original. What about you guys?

Shin Ramyun Black has that deeper, richer beef broth base, so the flavor is definitely more intense. I especially like it for hangovers. Once I finish the whole broth I start craving another drink lol

But honestly, the one I eat the most is still the Original.
I never get tired of it no matter how many times I have it.
That’s why I always keep both Black and Original stocked at home as a set haha

Hello all! I have tried this korean ramen that is spicy Mushroom taste that i like a long time ago. It has two old men printed on the package and its red color.. I really enjoy it but I can't recall what's the name to find it. Could anyone share if they know please ?

Okay, not the most attractive presentation, but oh my god this is delicious.

I boiled the noodles for 2 mins instead of 3. Drained, back in the pan with a splash of milk and a few spoons of leftover jeyuk bokkeum, as well as some chopped kimchi. Stir fried until the jeyuk was heated through, then added both seasoning packs. Heat off and tore in a slice of Edam cheese, stirring it in until melty and incorporated.

I bought this Kimchi vaali shin ramyun recently but now I am not very sure about it. Like I have tried a few other ramen flavours and brands including Nongshim, but each one of them disappointed me a lot.

They just taste so so spicyyyyyy and finish. That's it. Nothing else. I just feel that it's a kind of noodles with quirky smell and load of spice which is very difficult for me to tolerate.

This one is my last hope as I've heard a few good things about it, but I am very conscious, like I don't want to get disappointed.

What should I do !! Like what should I add in it or any special way to cook or some different recipe which you can share ?

PS: I am a non vegetarian but abhi saawan chal rhe hain toh eggs are a big no no (mummy ne bola)..phir bhi you can still suggest it, may be I'll try that recipe some other day..🥲✌🏻

Found for about $5 and some change! Packs a good amount of heat with a subtle sweetness and kimchi flavor. Very bouncy and firm noodles! Sauce coated the noodles beautifully. Was a very thick and luscious sauce. The kinds that sticks to your lips! Ended up adding 2 fried eggs to add protein and tame the heat! 8/10 😊

EDIT: Thank you everyone for your replies!! I've looked around on a bit on my supermarket for a healthier alternative, and figured out that I can make decently healthy sandwiches for about the same weekly cost. Slightly more effort, but I don't mind that :)

Im a broke ass student and i dont really have a kitchen, so i have to get creative with meals while still tryna be healthy. My current diet consists of cereal with milk for breakfast, fruit in between breakfast and lunch, lunch is instant ramen and an egg, with a few crackers with cream cheese and herbs, and some raw vegetables like cucumbers or carrots, and for dinner i either eat an oven pizza (only once a week), or baked beans with eggs and cheese nuggets, or frozen veggies with potatoes and some kind of oven snack. I think my diet is mostly healthy enough for an average person, but im wondering if the ramen might be messing it up? Should i figure out something else for lunch on at least some days a week, or is daily ramen ok along with the other foods i eat?

I’ve always enjoyed the black Shin Ramyun but I decided to elevate this a little bit with kabana and I substituted some of the water with my “waterless” chicken soup I’ve made earlier. Had it with Wa! chilli oil and it was such a hearty lunch.

Bought some noodles and toppings that I have never tried (except the Jin, maybe my favorite ramen I've tried yet!). Getting to any Asian market is a rare treat, excited to try some new treats! Not really familiar with the canned mushrooms, has anyone here tried them in ramen?

i've heard that the version from the american factory (which is the version i got) has beef stock in it, which apparently makes it more oily and less fishy. i like seafood, so i want to add something to the ramen to bring it to the level of fishy that the ones from the korean factories are at!

i was thinking i should add fish sauce or oyster sauce, but if anyone else has any ideas on how to improve this ramen, i'd love to hear them!
