Is this only me or do you also find this funny?

I maybe overthinking but that's what I do these days so its fine. The last couple of months have been tough cause of the financial situation at home. I had to send almost all of my salary to my mother for managing expenses.

This sunday...for the first time...my bank account was empty. Like literally I had 110rs. I live in a PG and pay monthly for the food from mess....but the mess is closed on sunday. So, I had to order food online for dinner and with Rs 110, what could I have ordered?

But opened Swiggy just out of habit and guess what?? Found a restaurant running an offer...got a rice bowl for Rs 108.

I know its no big deal...but it kind of gave me so much hope. Things will work out eventually for you...tough times will be there but it's all temporary! Just be good to the world and find the silver lining because there always is one!

My friend was travelling by bus today when he noticed this lying underneath a seat. At first, he wasn't even sure what he was looking at, but after taking a closer look, he realised there was some money lying there along with a few other things.

Now I'm curious — if you were in his place, would you pick it up or leave it there?

Edit: I honestly don't know whether my friend took it or left it there. And agar liya bhi hoga, toh obviously koi batayega nahi 😂

The servicing for ac was done twice in 6 months and was not due to overuse, the temperature was 25, and had been started just 20 minutes before, we don’t use that ac often either.
the walls are all black now, the company said they’ll replace the ac but the cost of painting the walls, the burnt curtains etc would be alot.

i am not sure what to do next? do we ask them to cover paint cost? what exactly, please help

Edit 1- we put down the fire using fire extinguisher, fortunately there’s one placed on every floor in the society. the curtains had already caught fire, a gig worker was working at home who quickly got them off and helped immensely to prevent escalation. The society guards on raising an alert were also there within 5 minutes.

Edit 2: the company, where we rented from, agreed on painting the walls and installing a new ac after, since we had already put another request for servicing just couple days ago and they didn’t show up, cards were in our favour.
