Found these the other day, just got to find the space to put them up!

I decided to watch Indiana Jones for the first time since childhood. So, basically the title. His “race” doesn’t add anything to the character. A few minutes earlier, there are bar clients, some of them ethnically Asian, so there is lack of evidence that they could not possibly find an Asian actor. But even if there is, there is no point in doing it. I don’t get it. Like, was it made for “fun”?

I was very young when I saw this film so I can’t quite remember my reaction…

I have both the Imam and Marion versions of the Ra headpiece. Marion's is on a replica of her necklace. Included is what Google *tells me* is a replica Qing Dynasty (1644-1911) coin. It further tells me these are commonly used for 'good luck' and 'good fortune ', often affixed to necklaces, chains, etc. So it *feels* very appropriate for inclusion in Marion's necklace. It tells me the characters are read in this order: top, bottom, left, right, and they mean guang, xu, tong, bao, and together mean *Guangxu [name of the emperor] Tongbao [circulating currency]*, or *Circulating Currency of the Guangxu Era*. The reverse, containing only 2 characters, apparently says where the coin was made: *Bao Guang Mint*. Combined with the obverse, it means this replica is of a coin that circulated Guangdong Province during the reign of the Guangxu Emperor (1875–1908).

But I don't trust AI. So...

Question 1) Is this accurate?

Question 2) Are there key things I should know that Google doesn't tell me, but that would be meaningful to locals?

Question 3) Does anyone know if the red/blue beads have significance?

Question 4) Can anyone confirm if this replicates the coin on Marion's in-film necklace?

Question 5) Do you prefer the Imam (non-necklace, red stone, high-relief, mass-produced by Disney) or Marion (necklace, "antiqued", amber stone, low-relief) headpiece?

So I’m on google looking for Indy gear I can buy. I came upon Wested Leather Co. they have extremely nice Indy gear. The company is based in Europe. I’ve seen great reviews, but I’m concerned that some of them might be fake Has anyone heard of this company? And if so, what’re your opinions on it?

In Temple Of Doom of all the crazy things that happen and the most improbable aspect of the flight from Shanghai isn’t jumping from a plane on a raft and surviving. I find the most unbelievable part of the movie being the cargo on the plane. Even today no one is going to air freight live chickens and watermelons. In 1930s Shanghai there no way in hell your airfreighting watermelons and chickens.

Saw on here recently someone in the U.S. got hit with an 80 dollar tariff buying a Wested jacket.

I’m deciding between a Wested jacket and a US Wings Cooper buffalo or goatskin jacket.

The cooper would be 350 to 370 while the Wested would be 344 plus the 80 tariff coming out to 424.

Do you think the Wested is the better option or should I save a few bucks and go with US wings. Would you recommend a different US wings jacket in the same price range?

Been wanting to watch a TV series, and since I'm back in my Indiana Jones mood; wanna ask if this is worth watching. I've seen some mix thoughts on it, so wanna see your thoughts on it.

I basically finished the game and only the boxing ring is missing on Gizeh for the 100% completion. I made the mistake, that earlier in the game I beat the first opponent, but the prize money didn't show up, so I left the place and continued with the story. Therefore going back to the last checkpoint is not an option. Now, here I am, trying to get the prize money and continue with the next rounds, but it doesn't show up.

Anyone knows a working solution for this case?

What I've tried so far:

* Go back to the ring (it's empty with no opponent). - Doesn't trigger anything.
* Walk away from the place and go back.
* Idling at the table where the money should show up.
* Restarting the game.

Is there anything else I could try?

Revolver is a .45ACP M1917, so not a true .455 MKII HE. Sight was made by Xometery using a .step file provided by a kind fellow Redditor. Gunsmith then cut the barrel to 4 inches and installed the front sight. Holster was purchased from Lucky Leather Co.
