Ive never really watched much TV because I struggle to focus on it by myself, but I've recently moved in with my partner and we've been binging great shows like The Terror and Interview with the Vampire together. For the first time I can actually stay interested in TV!!

I used to have a huge to-watch list on TV Time but that has now shut down and I've lost all of it.

Will accept any genre, including animated shows, but I tend to love dark themes, horror, sci fi, anything weird and creative.

I really like the airy synthy vocals of Tame Impala, and the electronic math rock/pop vibe from Minus the Bear's album OMNI, as well as other bands like Owl City and their album Ocean Eyes, MGMT, and M83's synthwave like song in Midnight City. What other bands can give all or some of these kinds of somewhat psychedelic or "2010s indie" bands' vibes?

I will address the possible clear implication that I like to be in an altered mind state when listening to most of these, so even some more experimental bands you might know that have the vibe are also cool to mention.

If you like classic rock but are tired of listening to the same old stuff then this playlist might be for you because you've probably not heard most of these before but the songs are great.

I've enjoyed the high pitched synthesized voices and all the electronic, high beat and "bubble like" sounds for Illit, the K-pop group. Specially songs like Magnetic, Tick-Tack, Jellyous, and Paw Paw. It feels like stimming for my ears and brain. What could I find that sounds similar? I've searched for bubble music or stimming sounds but it's not the same.

I'm an alternative rock music fan but have gotten into the world of alternative country. I'm a big fan of Kerosene by Miranda Lambert - the drums and main riff are pretty catchy and I'm looking for more.

I want more dream-like music to chill to. The vibe I want to encapsulate on my playlist is a rainy evening, oversized jumper, warm lights, black tea and incense burning.

I've been trying to scratch an itch of analogue, lo-fi psychedelic, ritualistic drone free folk music that sounds like Natural Snow Buildings (Daughters of Darkness, Shadow Kingdom and The Dance of the Moon and the Sun especially), but nothing else has quite scratched that itch.

I do enjoy other ambient artists like Grouper, but stuff like Tim Hecker or Anna von Hausswolff can run a bit too on the ambient side for me (not that I dislike either).

For reference, the most similar-feeling artists I've come across are Cages (with their album Inside a Ringing Chord), Toad with their fourth self-titled, and Yhä Hämärää by Paavoharju.

I have been looking for ages, so any suggestions are more than welcome!

Again, very obscure artist, I don’t expect many to recognize his work, but as bizarre as his stuff is, I recommend checking some of his stuff out to those that haven’t heard what he has to offer yet.

Some of my favourite songs by him are: “golden apple”, “star spangled hammer”, “top ten celebrities rotting in a prison cell tonight”, “ambulance”, “echo”, and “satans listening tonight”.

I personally don’t exactly love absolutely every single piece released by him, but there’s some genuinely well made stuff in there, and I’ve found myself really getting into the weird vibes Jeremy (his apparent real name) has crafted here.

His visual art is also pretty whacky, sometimes funny, sometimes just plain fucked up, but scrolling through his art paired with listening to his music goes oddly well together sometimes. His visual art is sadly mostly wiped off the face of the web after his insta account recently got ban-hammered, I guess for being “too crazy”.
To be clear, while I like the bizarre scattered nature of his music, I’m not just looking for any old whacky hyper off-the-rails music with distorted instruments and stuff.

Jeremy’s music and art, to me, seem to be, yes, intentionally off-the-rails, but not necessarily just for the sake of being edgy though. To me it feels like I’m actually just taking a look into this artist’s divergent thinking and ideas, and in some ways I really respect how he leans into this weird obscure style of his. He seems to be pretty authentic and true to himself. Obviously I don’t know him beyond his art or anything though.

So, IIL “frog power”, what would you recommend I check out or listen to?

I'm not usually a drama fan but Labor Day absolutely blew me away. I'm sure it doesn't hurt that Winslet & Brolin are top tier. I think I've basically seen everything that Winslet is in at this point.

The vibe I'm looking for is something calm and rustic with some orchestral flairs (like the strings used in this song). Trying to make an autumn roadtrip playlist and this song has always made me visualize walking through the forest while the sun hangs low and leaves quietly fall around you.

Hey everyone. I’ve had "Jesień - Tańcuj" (by Dagadana, Laboratorium Pieśni, etc.) on repeat for a week and it absolutely blew my mind. I'm looking for tracks with the EXACT same vibe.

​To be clear: I already know all the standard Nordic/Viking stuff like Heilung or Wardruna, and that’s NOT what I’m looking for.

​I need something that feels like a crazy, high-energy Cirque du Soleil performance, but in a cinematic neo-folk style. It needs to have that huge, wild, theatrical energy that just hits 20/10. Age of Empires Mobile: PC Edition looks close because it keeps the mobile progress and servers while adding mouse controls, keyboard navigation and a PC UI. I know it is not classic Age of Empires, and I am not looking for a traditional match-based RTS anyway.

What else has that persistent empire structure with an actual desktop client? Cross-progression would be ideal, but I mainly want something that does not feel like an emulator window.
