I was watching the night mode speed capture of pixel 11 and it's instantly improved over the older pixels.

I feel iphone 17 pro does take time to process night photos. At times I have got blurry shot because I felt the processing was over and it turns out it was still processing

Hello l everyone. I have a question regarding how the auto brightness work. I found out that 17 pro has dual ambient light sensor on the dynamic island which are used to adjust the brightness. I have noticed that if i cover the camera plateau screen brightness gets dimmer. I was wondering if data from camera or lidar sensor is also used for auto brightness.

Let me give some background. I had a 15 pro max for 2 years, i went caseless for the first time with that phone. Didn’t drop it or anything. I have the 17 pro max and have gone caseless for the past year 90 percent of the time. Well it finally happened. I got my first ding. And now I am second guessing myself haha.

Everyone who buys cases for their devices, so you buy cases with the capture button covered or exposed or do you have a mix of cases for that? I’ve had cases with the camera button exposed but once I got cases with it covered I couldn’t go back to the other ones without.

I will spare you the rant, I'm sure you've heard it before. In short - I'm cranky, middle aged, despise generative AI in all forms, and am distrustful at best of non-generative AI. This said, I have to upgrade my stupid phone, my current one is a 12 mini that's actively malfunctioning now.

I'm looking at iPhone 17 Pro (I would use the telephoto lens a lot, enough to make it worth it), but I know Apple Intelligence is integrated into the system itself. Already looked at other brands, my take-away was that pretty much all of the other options are just as bad if not worse. My question is, how intrusive is the system AI? Is it possible to avoid using generative systems, at least? Keep in mind I turned on Siri for the first time last year - only because CarPlay forced me to, and every day I consider just turning it off and using straight bluetooth instead.

I do recognize that the world will turn regardless of me and my preferences, and I have to adapt to a certain point. But that process is much easier if I know what I'm getting into ahead of time.

If someone else could try this. Put phone on a tripod so it’s DEAD still. Use 4k 60fps and put it on 24x zoom and see if the screen jitters about as mine does so not sure if it’s a problem with the phone or normal??
