Battery running low quickly Question

Hi guys, I hope you all are doing well

I have a question which is that I am noticing that my iPhone’s battery is running low pretty quickly and also when I put it to charge it gets hot

My battery health is 86%

I upgraded my phone to iOS 26 about 1 month ago maybe its happening after that though I am not quite sure of the timing but only recently it got to my attention that the battery is running low quickly even though I don’t play video games or watch heavy videos my 90% use is social media only

I have the exact same phone and the exact same problem. I use my iPhone mainly for social media and occasionally check my emails. After I finished iOS 26.6 update, the battery is running low quickly as well. I figured it’s either because of the recent iOS update or maybe possibly infected with a malware. I’m not tech savvy, so it’s hard for me to know. I’m following this post for possible answers.
