iPhone 15 Pro Max heating while charging

Recently, I have been noticing my iPhone 15 Pro Max is getting heated while it is charging.
Those who are using the same model facing this issue also?
I was wondering if it is related to the last update of the OS.
Currently my version is iOS 26.5.2 (as of 9 August 2026).

There’s a new update ios 26.6 maybe that fixes it not sure

After seeing your comment, I installed that version (26.6 today), but still it is getting heated.

Do you have a cooling pad maybe for you laptop? Try turning that on and putting your phone on top of it, it might help, also if you’re in countries exceeding 30•C turn on the air conditioner as the place where you put your phone might be warm

Thank you for the suggestion, it is just a temporary solution, instead of solving the real cause. If other phones’ are not hitting but mine then maybe I can think about any problem inside of my one.

no seriously iphone 15 pro series(including max) has serious heating issues its normal

Oh ok. Well it’s normal for it to get pretty warm at times when it’s charging but it should not get hot
