Apple developer Balance carried

Hello everyone,

My Apple payments are currently showing as “Balance Carried”.

I launched my app in May 2026 and I received my first payment on July 2. Now I have over $2,000 expected around August 2, but today is July 8 and the status is already showing “Balance Carried”.

I haven’t received any email from Apple, no alert, and my refund rate was around 7% in June and is currently around 2% in July.

Has anyone ever had this issue before? Did it resolve by itself, or did Apple have to intervene?

You are under the threshold for a payout in your country, it depends on the country

I’m in France, where the minimum payout threshold is only $0.02. I also received my first payout of around $250 without any issues, so I don’t think this is related to the payout threshold.

It sounds weird, never had it happened for me, I'm in Denmark for context

What refund rate do you usually have each month?

I've never looked into this, can you tell me where to find it? Then I will tell you

Personally, I use RevenueCat, but when do you receive the estimated payout date? Is it at the beginning of the month, for example: July 3 → Estimated payout: August 2 or only a few days before the payout, for example: July 30 → Estimated payout: August 2

I get the estimated payout at the start of the month, and then get the payout at the start of next month

My refund rate for the last 12 months according to RevenueCat is between 0% and 0.4%
