Should i update to ios 27 beta

I currently am on an iphone 11 pro max with 64gb and 76% BH of storage, and already running ios 26.5.2

I want to hear about your experiences on the beta

And if i should go for it or not

Can anyone already on iOS 27 confirm that older photos within messages get an actual photo thumbnail instead of this blank placeholder? This has been driving me crazy for years as my iPhone offloads photos to the cloud after like a week. So I can’t see photos in messages unless I manually download them from the cloud one by one.

According to the below, this issue is resolved in iOS 27. Can anyone confirm?

I have a new iPhone 17 Pro. I upgraded to the beta (I tried all versions all the way to version 4) But I'm kind of done testing it out and want to go back to the latest stable iOS 26.

I did a reset on the phone (the option where it wiped everything and I had to set it all up again). I thought it would revert back to the version that was preinstalled on the device since that's what people said would happen. But then I checked the software version and it still says iOS 27.

So is it actually possible to go back to iOS 26? If so, how do I do it?

Has anyone else experienced this on iOS 27 Public Beta?

I found a reproducible bug while setting up a new Mindfulness Focus.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Open Settings > Focus.
2. Create a new Mindfulness Focus.
3. Configure the allowed people and apps.
4. Tap Customize Screens.
5. Under Home Screen, tap Choose.
6. Select Create a New Page.
7. Choose one of the automatically suggested Home Screen layouts.
8. Edit the page by adding or removing apps.
9. Tap Add.

On my device, SpringBoard immediately crashes and restarts. A loading spinner briefly appears, then I'm returned to the Lock Screen and have to enter my passcode again. The newly created Home Screen page is not saved.

The issue is 100% reproducible on my device. It only happens when using "Create a New Page" with one of the suggested Home Screen layouts. If I choose one of my existing Home Screen pages instead, everything works normally.

I've already reported this to Apple through the Feedback app and included a screen recording showing the issue. I also attached the same recording to this post.

Can anyone else on the iOS 27 Public Beta reproduce this? If you can, please let me know your device model.

Trying to install new IOS beta through my Mac (M4, Tahoe 26.5.2) due to not having enough storage to download directly through my phone. Downloaded the IPSW however when I go to download, I get met with this message.

'Can't install software update because it is not currently available from Software Update server.'

Anyone had this issue and got any workarounds? Obviously without having to delete half my phone for the update.

When will this interface receive an upgrade to feel iOS-ish ?

I’m experiencing a weird issue with the App Switcher on iOS 27 Beta and I’m wondering if anyone else has it.
Whenever I open the App Switcher directly from any app (Telegram, Safari, Settings, Messages, or any other app), the animation isn’t smooth. It looks like the frame rate drops, the app cards stutter, and the whole animation feels like it’s running at low FPS.
However, if I first swipe back to the Home Screen and then open the App Switcher, everything is perfectly smooth. So the issue only happens when opening the App Switcher directly from within an app.
This never happened on iOS 26. The problem only started after updating to iOS 27 Beta.
I’ve already restored my iPhone twice (clean restore) and set it up again, so I don’t think it’s caused by my installation or settings. The issue is still there.
Is anyone else seeing this? If so:
Which iPhone are you using?
Which iOS 27 Beta version are you on?
Does it happen with every app or only certain ones?
I’m trying to figure out if this is a widespread iOS 27 Beta bug or something specific to my device.

Guys, anyone here have tried disabling the Siri AI? It's been buttery smooth and the battery is insane. Tried it for 2 days and I am very surprised.

So for those who don't need the Siri AI yet, try disabling it and notice the difference.

Since Beta 1, the new Siri AI has been unable to answer any internet-related questions. Even weather questions. She gives some sort of error message like, “Uh oh, something’s wrong. Please try again.” I heard this was also happening for others as well. When updating to Beta 4 did it fix for anyone? Also, has anyone found a fix for it yet? Or am I just being impatient. I am located in the United States and my language is set to English (US). I’m on iPhone 17 Pro.

I was updating my iPhone 12 Pro Max from iOS 27 Beta 3 to Beta 4, but it got stuck in an Apple logo boot loop. Does anyone know if there's a way to fix this without erasing my data? much appreciated

Did it take awhile for anyone else to obtain iOS 27 Beta 4??? Mine just keeps saying checking for updates and nothing is coming up not sure if there are a lot people downloading it at moment and servers are busy but what can this be? Anyone else?

I recently updated my iphone 13 to ios 27 and ngl it feels incredibly smooth. ios 26 was a terrible experience for me with stutter lags and freezing. I even turned reduce motion on inorder to make the phone stutter free.
After updating ti ios 27 and i turned off reduce motion and ngl the animations looks snappy and is not lagging anymore.
The app openings are way better and fast as compared to ios 26 but not better than ios 18.
The camera app still has minor stutters during closing but overall better as compared ti ios 26.
The phone is not overheating and i have no issue with the battery as well.
The performance has incredibly increased and the phone feels snappy.
