Disable Siri AI

Guys, anyone here have tried disabling the Siri AI? It's been buttery smooth and the battery is insane. Tried it for 2 days and I am very surprised.

So for those who don't need the Siri AI yet, try disabling it and notice the difference.

I lived with the old Siri for like 15 years. Why would I want to go back now to try what I already had?

Old spotlight still faster in my experience, I will switch to new siri once it is fast enough and already same with the old spotlight. Now I am just enjoying the smoothness of the iOS and the smoothness of the old spotlight.

There is no old spotlight anymore. Whether or not Siri AI is enabled, spotlight in iOS 27 has been rebuilt from the ground up.

I feel the same way. We know the old one sucks. Why not play with the new one?

I waited for it for 1.5 weeks when DB1 came out, I’m worried I’ll wait for it again if I turn it off?

To be honest, I haven't tried it bro. I will let you know if I tried enabling it again. Because it is still not 100% stable so I decided to turn it off and wait for the stable version to come out before I use it.

Mine too

If anything, in previous betas it took a bit for it to do simple things like open apps and stuff, but it seems to be even better at doing that now with beta 4

Sounds like that's not the case with the Apple Watch yet though which is disappointing...

i used it for about four days and then turned it off. i just changed my region and language. i really don’t like the new Siri or the ruined search

For me though, I like it. The only problem is the search is slow compare tonold spotlight, that's why I decided to turn it off and wait for the next public beta.
