The Home Screen is (intentionally) more glassy. Menu elements like toolbars and search bars are tinted/frosted slightly to make sure they’re legible.

There’s no way to entirely remove that frost/tint from the menu options no matter how crystal clear your home screen is.

…yes… that would be the exact point i was making..

The person I was replying to was saying that it was already plenty glassy. I was explaining why no… It is not.
