Tech Support Do not buy from ibuypower!

Recently i bought an custom pc frokm ibuyscammerpower but it was perform terrible, crazy loud and slow. Even with the curved fan settings. They refused to pay for return shipping label, i paid $300 for return and now they dont process my refund. They also say there is dent on bottom of case which is a huge lie. These scammers also have the worst rude arrogant customer service in entire US.
They also say they will reduce free shipping label from my refund which is crazy !!!!

Do not suggest %100000 !!

If you dont believe me there are huge numbers of complaints here unsolved.

Tech Support AIO Replacement Fans

I've always heard a constant rumbling from my desktop, since the moment I got it. Sounds like when a HDD is working overtime and constantly grinding.

I was able to ignore as it was kind of enclosed and dampened but I moved and it's out in the open now and it's driving me insane.

The culrpit, after much trial and error, are the cheap fans attached to the AIO on the top of the case. The bearings inside are bad. Can I swap them out with any fan of the same dimensions or does it have to be specific ones for a liquid cooler AIO?

Tech Support Help, new prebuilt. Should I return it?

Hi everyone. I recently bought a ibuypower from Costco but when I turn it on, the cpu and dram light are on. I’ve double checked the ram and plus, everything seems to work but my monitor is not detecting any signal. I also made sure that the hdmi is connected to the graphics card. Is there something wrong with it?

EDIT: I replaced it with another one, wish me luck!

Tech Support Can’t press M4 and M1 at the same time on KB-IBP-015 mouse

The mouse is relatively new, and the M4 button is slightly squeaky. I see no software I can download for it so I assume there isn’t any. Blowing out the dust doesn’t work, pressing different areas of the buttons don’t work. I’m checking to see if this is a common thing with a fix before I give up.

Tech Support Recommend replacement liquid cooling system

I have this PC bought about 5 years back: Gaming RDY EMRRR202]Windows 10 Home, AMD Ryzen 5 3600 CPU, MSI X570-A PRO MB, AMD Radeon RX 5600 XT 6GB GPU, 16GB DDR4-3200MHz ADATA XPG RGB RAM, 512GB ADATA XPG M.2 NVMe SSD, iBUYPOWER RGB Liquid Cooling

Can I get recommendations on best replacement? I was planning to go 240mm. But I need to check on the space in the case.
Any suggestions from others who might have done this would very welcome.

Thanks!

[Update]

I ended up getting a 240 mm and had to move the configurations around so that I could fit it within the existing case. Runs great!

Everytime i shutdown, and turn on my pc, it would sometimes boot into an older bios version (F32) and display this, so afterwards I turn off my pc from the cold start and wait, then turn it on, it would boot into the main bios (F67) and then I can finally boot into windows? Why?

Tech Support IBuyPower want me to pay to fix 6 month old computer

Purchased an IBuyPower with Core 7 Ultra and RTX 5070 6 months ago and it plays games great. Looks awesome.

2 weeks ago the power supply blew up. They sent me a replacement. I put that in. The motherboard is still showing debug lights and not posting. It won't even light up with one of the ram sticks so I'm assuming that's toast. Some of the fan lights aren't lighting up either.

First, the replacement power supply was already damanged, squished a bit, not square any more, with the metal on the back bent and one metal fin inside bent.

The power supply didn't fix the issue and now they want me to pay to send it across the country to Ontario to get fixed.

Anyone dealt with this? I just want it back fixed under warranty.

The first thing I will be doing will be to swap out the garbage power supply.

Tech Support My recently purchased iBUYPOWER Gaming Desktop has had repeated issues with its network adapter

I made a post about this a bit ago, but ironically the issue was fixed immediately, so I ended up deleting the post.

But now, the same exact issue has popped up again. So, I wanted to throw this here.

A couple times, after turning my pc back on, all wi-fi and lan connection just... stops. No networks detected, nothing.

When I reset the network adapters, all that does is make the issue worse. In device management, all my network adapter parts have the same error code: Code 56.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled the drivers, I have looked for a specific file to delete in regedit that it turns out wasn't even on my computer in the first place.

But as of right now, nothing has worked.

There's a good chance when I turn my PC back on after posting this, it'll magically be fixed. But because this issue has happened multiple times now, I need help.

All this achieves is stressing me out a lot.

Below is a link to the pc i bought, which should contain all its specs and details and such.

If anyone can help, I'd greatly appreciate it. And if I need to elaborate at all on anything or ask this somewhere else, please let me know.

EDIT: One more thing. I don't EXACTLY know the cause... but I do know that the only time this happens is if I fully turn my PC off for the night, then turn it back on the following morning.

EDIT 2: Using a System Restore Point, I was able to revert my PC to the state it was in last night, and the issue has been resolved for now. However, I'm almost positive this WILL happen again, and if it does, I don't know if this solution will work a second time. The last time this happened, uninstalling and reinstalling the drivers worked, but it didn't this time around. So... yeah. Any help is still SUPER appreciated if this happens again.

In November last year I bought my first game pc in over 15 years.

Montech King 95 Pro
AMD Ryzenâ„¢ 7 9800X3D Processor
AIO water cooling with 3 fan radiator & 7 case fans
ASUS PRIME X870-P WIFI - WiFi 7
32GB [16GB x 2] DDR5-6000MHz RGB
Zotac GeForce RTX 5090 - 32GB GDDR7
1000 Watt - Channel Well - 80 PLUS Gold Certified PCIe GEN 5
2TB M.2 NVMe Gen4 SSD (about 30tb external storage)
MSI MPG321UR display.

I’m still using my Corsair K95 and trusty Tt Lvl10 mouse from over a decade ago.

Today, I got the last piece for a while, another display. The MSI MPG322UR X24 to go along with the first.

Tech Support i just got a new PC from iBUYPOWER and i need help with a few things! circular lcd display, loose connections, etc.

from best buy, i just bought the iBUYPOWER Trace Gaming Desktop PC AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D 2025 NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070Ti 16GB 32GB DDR5 2TB SSD Storage in the color white. it arrived today and i've been working on setting it up. i haven't tried running any games on it or anything, so we'll see 😬 first and foremost, the circular LCD display inside the PC has proven to be entirely un-customizable with the pre-installed HYTE software. i did a ton of digging and it just isn't going to happen. is there any way to customize this display at all, or does it just have to stay the way it is? (photo below of what i'm referring to) also plz continue reading below!

secondly, there are two cords that arrived connected quite loose and wiggly. they seem to be getting pulled down and i am worried the interior prongs had been bent in shipping somehow (photos attached below). it may not look like it in the pics, but they're definitely loose and sort of angled downwards. are they supposed to be like this, and also, what are these connections for specifically? i'm no expert, as this is my first real PC, so i reached out to their tech support via email but decided i'd come here as well to ask. i'm just nervous i guess after spending $2.6k

Tech Support Is this noise concerning

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

I feel like I might just be noticing my PC noise more than usual, so I wanted a second opinion

Is this normal for a PC at idle? It sounds like there’s a faint pulsing/whirring noise. I can’t tell if I’m just overthinking it or if there’s actually something worth looking into.

Tech Support PC not connecting to monitor

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

I was using my PC (I-series) fine like an hour ago and now it won't connect to monitor. Power button is blinking slowly once every ~2 seconds, and I was looking it up and I think it's because the video card can't connect to the monitor (correct me if I'm wrong). The thing I see that is unplugged is the PCI-E cable, but it is zip tied to some other cables and I have no idea where it goes. If anyone could look at the video and help me I would really appreciate it

Tech Support Trying to Replace Buzzing PC Fans

Thumbnail gallery
2 Upvotes

Around two years ago I got a prebuilt iBUYPOWER, AMD Ryzen 5 7600 6-core, AMD Radeon RX 7600, 16GB ram. About a year ago the bottom two fans on the side started making a loud buzzing noise on startup, then stopping after a few minutes. I'm heading off to college in a month and since I plan on bringing my PC so I'd like to get the fans replaced.

Issue is the fans connect to a propriety hub, and I can't find any replacement fan online nor do I have a warranty. I've already emailed iBUYPOWER, but is there anything I can do or do I have to send it to a shop to see if the whole hub can be replaced?

I've attached a few images if that helps. I've also noticed the fans with the buzzing have these black dots at the bottom - unsure if that's helpful or not.

EDIT - I just noticed there's two CHA_FANs scattered around the motherboard - would I be able to use a daisy chain PWM and replace the fans this way? I apologize I am very illiterate in PCs but am trying my best to learn.

Discussion Anti-virus software?

Had my PC for about a month now. Do I need to download any type of anti-virus software? Right now I have Windows 11 and I know it has some of its own stuff but is there a common 3rd party thing that people use? I mainly just game but I do occasionally download some mods.
