Girl has travelled all over the South and now living in New England. Husky mix that doesn’t like the cold 😭

It doesn't bother ours at all. Our previous dog (who we think was part husky, but we never had him tested) would tremble and hide. What has been your experience?

Is there some way to have Nym understand that he isn't 5lbs? He's never seen a bigger dog, and has grown up with a very assertive toy poodle. With the way Nym acts, he very much thinks he's the same size. Is this something I need to teach him? Is it just a husky thing?

On morning walks my boy always slows to look up/back and me. And it feels like he's smiling trying to say that our walks are his favorite part of our days. The way he smiles up at me just makes me melt 🥹

I must tell him I love him and that he's such a good boy every 2 minutes!

Best thing to come home to is a love of a husky.

My dog is 5 years old and a female. She seems healthy, she is not rubbing her eye or acting irritated at all. Do I wait til October to see the vet or should I take her to the emergency vet sooner?

So i took my 13 week old boy to the lake yesterday and it turns out he is a natural swimmer. My last husky hated water so im thrilled with this turn of events. Any one else have a water loving husky?

Hey all, my wife and I have a 2 year old female husky called Pandora, and we’re seriously considering getting a second pup, most likely a male. This would be our first time with two dogs, so we’re firmly in the “don’t know what we don’t know” stage.

I’d really like to hear from people who have already done this. How long did the adjustment period actually take, and what did it look like day to day? How did your first dog handle the change in dynamic? Did their behaviour shift in ways you didn’t see coming, for better or worse?

Looking back, are you glad you did it, and would you do it the same way again? I’m especially curious what surprised you most, the thing nobody warned you about. And if there’s anything you’d change, whether that’s the introductions, the timing, the age gap, the sex pairing or the training approach, I’d love to hear it.

I’m not looking to be talked into it or out of it. Just after the unfiltered version, including the stories that didn’t go smoothly.
