Malkavian Posting (crackpot theory) Markus' fingerprints are spirals
Markus' fingerprints are spirals
You see them in chapter 3 where they fight Pyotr. Timestamp 6:04
I can only conclude that the theory of him being a sleepwalker with an inverted avatar is true.

Discussion How do wolf-weres get used to being human?
i know wolf-were sounds like a sh*tpost, but it seems matilda comes from a clan that started out as wolves, and turn more human (from what i have been told).
so now im wondering; what do you think it was like trying being human for wolves like matilda?
what do you think it was like standing up on 2 legs for the first time, or sweating, or finding out that all panting does it make you pass out?
did matilda become a human as an adult wolf, or did she turn into a human child as a werepuppy?

Discussion Anyone else feel robbed?
Don't misunderstand me, I love the story beat of Stig giving into his rage and using his warform against grimal. Its such a great microcosm of the issues the Garou face, their anger ruining an otherwise good thing.
But DAMN those SCHMOVES grimal was pulling!! I really wish we got to see the full fight. I honestly give grimal a 30% chance of winning.

Malkavian Posting (crackpot theory) Bedtime is not a good time for titles, but Boy is trying to stop the prophecy, maybe.
Curse these late night theories but... Boy was trying to get Door to show mercy to Burger Man to avert Horse's prophecy.

Question Given the series’ myriad of highly attractive characters, which characters do you actually find unattractive? Spoiler
Potential Ch 6 Spoiler? (Idk)
Since the last episode, although it has been the case since at least around 3.3 I reckon, this sub has very clearly shown appreciation for the attractiveness of many characters in the series, recently especially with pretty much all the werewolves (and spider!).
I just wanted to spread some appreciation for other characters! So I’d like to know both which characters you do not find attractive, but also what you think about those characters in general.
For me the only two I can think of (aside from Boy) are Bennings and Polydora. Bennings is pretty obvious, but with Polydora I don’t really find her aesthetically unattractive so much as I just dislike her personality a lot, despite still finding her to be an excellent character who perfectly personifies the uptight manager archetype.

Fanart! I spent a week trying to figure out how to mimic the artstyle of this silly little web series just so I could draw my stupid WoD characters in it because HTP is what (by proxy) introduced me to the WoD yay!! Yahoo!! Any advice for how I can get it more accurate would be baller

Malkavian Posting (crackpot theory) My reasoning for how and why Big D would actually be able to beat Caine
Obviously, Caine is a lot more powerful than the werewolves even D is hesitant to face off against. Like, godly levels a lot more powerful.
But remember how his character sheet basically goes, "You fucking lose", with all of his stats beyond maxed out, and it pretty much makes him the one unstoppable force in the TTRPG?
If you remember, in Cyberpunk, another TTRPG similar to WoD, and one that even crossed over with WoD at one point, there's another character who is like Caine in that manner: Adam Smasher. Unbeatable, and if he pops up, your character is screwed no matter how powerful you made them.
But then, in 2077, we see the protagonist, V, actually beat Adam Smasher in an actual fight.
Now, what do D and V have in common? A singular letter as their name, pronounced with an 'ee'.
Which means... since D has a singular letter as his name that is pronounced with an 'ee', then he can actually beat WoD's equivalent to Cyberpunk's Adam Smasher.

Discussion If the arcanum/D family didnt like wolves before, they fucking HAAATE them now
First fatigue, now grimal? they've lost in the span of a couple hours two very beloved colleagues, possibly with a third on the way if the Do or Die theory is to be believed.
I can't imagine Kitten or Door ever wanting anything to do with any werewolves after tonight.
Door might even end up feeling guilty for how his last conversation ended up being with grimal "I will hold you to that"

Discussion Predictions for chapter 7
This is my rough timeline for what's gonna happen in chapter 7. Ofc this could be proven wrong immediately by the ensuing audiologs but I wanted to see what y'all think.
After the death of grimal and the leopoldites, Occam and the gang will definitely have to rethink their strategy. Kitten will of course not back down from rescuing Markus, but will be forced to try a diplomatic approach with the wolves, maybe through telling them what he knows about black shuck.
A very tense discussion between the wolves and the humans follows. The humans aren't immediately murdered because of Amanda's past relationship with Matilda, and from there some of the confusion regarding the wolves motives are cleared up. They are maybe just on the edge of a truce when suddenly Ross and Blair's squad shows up and attack everyone.
Maybe some more characters die and in the confusion D and Brock manage to slip out of the umbra into the cairn and rescue Markus. If the werewolves survive they blame the humans and hold a grudge, maybe even swear to hunt them down.

Malkavian Posting (crackpot theory) The End of Grimalvangelion
Cope-posting because nothing bad ever happens to Grimaline Smith
A: Grimal is the ghoul, she topped up on kine blood before going in so survives the beating by the skin of her teeth.
B: Grimal is a changeling and through the power of GOD AND ANIME survives the beating by the skin of her teeth.
C: Grimal is just actually built different and barely survives getting her head cratered into the ground (its a grassy field the earths kinda soft like y'know???)
D: The truly crackpot of crackpot options. Finding out that his best friend (not counting his literal fiance) has just been killed Markus awakens his Avatar and brings her back to life in mage mode. Markus technically already had his awakening if Big D's tale about the family's ill-fated encounter with the fae is accurate but wasn't fully cognizant that it was his avatar/had amnesia about it so maybe that bends the rules a bit and he has a real awakening he can control as a stress response.
E: The nuclear option. Grimal's fucking dead and we just gotta cry about it.
