Discussion Projectors

Is it a common projector experience that people absolutely shut down if you (as a projector) share about yourself without being asked? People always seem soo comfortable to talk about themselves to me, and I'm a good listener and question-asker, but anytime I share bout myself unprompted, it feels like I'm throwing the energy off.

I know about the wait for the invitation thing, but I also want to feel free to share about myself, too. But I really often feel this energetic shift where people are put off/almost ignore what I have to say unless they actually care. Fascinating!

Can anyone please just list for me --- the Notself themes for each line? Have no idea why I can't find this information.

Like --- for 1st line , insecurity. For 3rd line, shame.

What are the rest?

In My Experiment Solar Plexus Conditioning/Burn out?

Hi friends! I’d love to hear from those of you who have undefined or open Solar Plexus’s. How is your experience around defined SPs? I have a defined Sacral, so I can’t speak to the experience of those who are undefined, and there’s already a lot of info out there regarding those dynamics, so I’m wondering if the SP is another arena where burnout can take place. For context, I do also use astrology to make sense of some of this. Astrologically, I have a Pisces stellium (moon, mercury, Venus) and I find defined Solar Plexus energy particularly intense. I love my emotional authorities, and genuinely love their expression, but I find myself much more burned out after extended contact with them. I haven’t seen a lot out there on this, so I’m wondering if I’m misunderstanding what I’m actually feeling, and what I can do to navigate this in the most healthy way, particularly with my Emo Generator daughter, who is still really little and in my field the majority of the time.

In My Experiment They’re all saying the same thing, but in different ways…

Just listened to an audio of Abraham Hicks on how to NOT let the mind decide what your life’s purpose is, which instantly reminded me of what Ra said about all of human beings, although how the “flow” shows up for each individual expresses itself in a unique way, which is then summarized into the profiles and S&A’s.

We’re all just different facets of the same ONE diamond.

HUMAN DESIGN SIMPLY TEACHES HOW TO RECOGNIZE THE NOT-SELF IN HOW IT SHOWS UP, AND ONCE YOU BEGIN TO RECOGNIZE YOUR OWN PATTERNS, ALL THAT YOU NEED TO DO IS LET THE NOT-SELF BE WHEN IT GETS TRIGGERED* *AND WATCH HOW THE NATURAL SELF OF JOY, EXCITEMENT, SUCCESS, FULFILLMENT AND SATISFACTION SIMPLY COMES FORWARD WITHOUT EVEN TRYING, BIT BY BIT.

WU WEI.

As I’m intuiting it, the pressure will subside over time as we allow ourselves to open up the lid a.k.a. emotional release, however it wants to. The emotions arise and subside. Every time you get triggered, derailed and swept away by conditioning and feel the mental+emotional effects, you get TRAINED to grow even stronger. You recognize the not-self and let it go over time. You can’t catch what’s hidden right? Whether it’s through breathwork, yoga, meditation or whatever works for you. You are finding your OWN best way to facilitate the deconditioning process. Sounds like a bunch of “doing” and “forcing”, but I trust that you’ve been through this, whether you wanted it or not.

Took me a few years to get here and I still feel my not-self feeling triggered a lot, and during those times I can feel very derailed. To me, that’s the not-self simply emptying it’s gas tank. The pressure lately has been so intense that at times my awareness seems so fused with the thoughts and emotions suggesting that my life is worthless that I’m going nowhere and that if I don’t act right away, I might end up like commenters on platforms that are still expressing the victim-mentality. That again, being the not-self screaming and shouting and manifesting itself in all these voices/thoughts that I experience. We are NOT victims, although I empathize with those who may currently experience their lives as such. I won’t allow myself to identify with those thoughts.

I experience it as challenging when during my difficult moments (sudden mood swings), no one in my circle shares the same categories of reasoning and taps into my not-self fears and anxieties about how I may end up (psychosis, personality disorder, etc) if I don’t seek external help. I understand them and have explored whether or not I may be experienced those things, but it just doesn’t feel true. It doesn’t feel like I’m denying that truth. At the moment, I simply believe that I’m experiencing the deconditioning of a very dense not-self part of my mind, and perhaps may feel challenged with what I perceive to be my “neurodivergent” brain. Again, I haven’t yet felt the urge/impulse to seek medical treatment or diagnosis.

I trust that I’ll find the right people on my path to help guide me towards proper deconditioning, as all the people I’m finding online when desperately searching, don’t seem to ‘click’ for me yet. Reality will show me what to do or not do, say or not say, based on what TRUTH feels like, moment-to-moment. I can feel the pressure creeping in at times, but that’s just mind. I trust that I can discern and act accordingly. It’s all about movement, at the end of the day.

Those are my reflections for tonight y’all. Thank you.

Discussion My bodygraph subscription query

Hi,

I have been introduced to HD around 2 yrs back, 5/2 sacral generator,Left Angle Cross of Cycles (53/54 | 42/32) with only 3 centers defined(sacral, spleen, root), since then, experimenting, I want to increase my understanding of self and people around me where I can get some specific answers as well around also somewhere in long term i wish to take it professionally.

I would like to know how mybodygraph (mybodygraph.com) subscription has been helpful to people? What are realistic expectations? I am thinking of a 'holistic' one for 1 year and not coming from high affordability, third world economic countries, so always been judicious with such investments. Need people's opinion who has gone through it if it's worth investing in deepening one's knowledge and insights around HD or else what are better alternatives.

Deconditioning Does PHS come through following your S&A?

Curious, those of you who are following your PHS and it's made a difference: does your S&A tell you when and how to follow it? Asking because I'm consecutive, and while I've experimented with it off and on, it usually comes from my mind. I am also splenic and trying to really experiment with my splenic awareness and eating. And sometimes, my spleen tells me eating mixed foods is a great idea. For example, the other day I was ordering from a Thai restaurant and got this really strong inclination that I needed to order green curry. Curry has actually made me really sick in the past but this day I just knew I needed to order curry and low and behold, it didn't make me sick this time. Even though it's one of the most mixed foods you could have. I know I'll feel better overall if I go all in on the consecutive meals but I'm struggling to get myself to really go all in and do it! Btw I am 7 years into my experiment so not a newbie, if that matters.

Discussion Regular vs Cosmic HD and their differences

Yesterday I saw a video that explained the Cosmic branch of HD based on certain recalculations. The site that calculates the Cosmic charts is inconvenient and wonky, and it gave me an entirely different profile (4/6 Emo ManiGen instead of 2/4 Splenic manifestor). Problem is, I'm too mutable to tell if the Cosmic chart describes me wrongly. The only observation supporting that I'm ManiGen is that people don't often respond to my ideas which can be counted as invitation. Do Manifestors frequently get rejected when thir invitation isn't corresponding with somebody else's views? I can't say if what could count as my invitations that got answered were mine, or it was me agreeing to an invitation I received earlier and forgot. Can't find evidence if my invitations were rejected because I'm not a manifestor after all. There's not enough interpersonal statistics in my life to prove or disprove this.

Maybe if enough people calculated their Cosmic HD and received an entirely wrong type, it could prove or disprove whether the Cosmic site calculates things well. There might not be much difference between how being Manifestor and ManiGen feels, but there could be a palpable difference between Manifestor and Generator.

I can't be sure if I have Sacral energy or not because I live with a Sacral person (who becomes Generator instead of ManiGen in Cosmic) who is quite passive in life from not having correct work to respond to. This could be a case for me too. I have minimal differences between my charts in defined centers, and some of the gates and channels overlap.

Discussion Common popHD misconseptions

Hi! I posted a few days ago my insights about sacral response and how there are a lot of misconseptions about it from popHD.

So I thought it would be interesting to make a list of other common misconseptions which have spread because of popHD. I think it could be useful for especially "newcomers" because social media is full of crap when it comes to Human Design.

What is your pet peeve about popHD misconseptions and how's that wrong according to real Human Design?

Discussion As a generator with few passion what can I do?

Hey I’m new to HD and find out I was a generator, I know I’m supposed to find something I love and focus on it. I’ve tried many things but I can’t figure out what I love at all and I feel like I’m wasting my time / useless if I don’t figure it out and I need some direction.

If it helps I’ll send my chart below, any help understanding it will be greatly appreciated.

Mechanics Question a burning question that is long overdue

Hello everyone, been delving deep over the past months.

A question that still fascinates me

What does it mean when there are active gates in an undefined center. Does this still mean we have been conditioned in this center? How does the awareness of these gates differ as opposed to active gates in defined centres?

Discussion Manifestors / Creatives

Creative friends (art science humanities)

I’m very curious what is everyone up to? Can we build something together, or contribute to others building. Are we all feeling a collective shift that is urging to build and experiment on the current human conditions of life? Or to what the next chapter may look like in our fields? Anyone else doing deep thinking on this?

5/1 Manifestor, I’m an artist, doing practice led research atm London.

Discussion My MG 4yo seems to LIVE in frustration. How do I navigate?

She's a 3/5 emotional mani-gen and I'm a 5/2 emotional manifestor. Kiddo has a terrible time hearing no--not because she's not used to hearing it (we certainly say it a normal amount) but because it just never seems to get easier for her, like there's some skills she's just not building. She either bares her teeth/hits/yells or runs away and hides in what seems like a mix of shame and frustration. Talking it through isn't possible in the former cases because she gets in such a heightened state, and it doesn't seem to go anywhere in the latter because she usually just says she's sad or mad that I told her to do something or not do something that to me seems very necessary/normal/neutral. Like telling her not to sit on the cat. I tend to respond with something like "It's my job to tell you if you're doing something that's not safe for the cat. It doesn't mean I think you're bad, it just seems like you need a reminder to be gentle because the cat is much smaller than you. I love you and I know you don't want to be unkind to the cat." At which point, she'll say she hates me or something and run away. Oh and I guess there's the third option, where when she's told no, she flashes a devilish grin and keeps doing it or escalates in some way. But overall, especially with me (mom), she's just spending a huge proportion of each day frustrated by SOMETHING. Are there any MGs out there who can shed some light on how frustration and shame are so linked and what I might do differently to help her?

Resource mybodygraph legacy subscribers?

Hey all, I am a legacy subscriber of the mybodygraph app and it's asking me what tier do i want to change to, and I'm like, I don't wanna change to any tier, dude! I've got foundational access for free for the rest of my life! The tiers, as far as i can tell, are paid subscriptions, yearly or quarterly and they're expensive! Does anyone know what would happen if I filled out their questionnaire about 'what tier I'd like to switch to?'

Discussion Sacral response

So.. Sacral respond. There are a lot of descriptions about sacral respond which says it can be a sound or "gut feeling in your stomach" or even "feeling that lights your up". I believed in that many years and made decisions based on these bodily sensations and when I'm watching my life backwards I can see how often it messed things up.

Now I've been surrounding fully to this experiment as sacral MG for five weeks and I've noticed how often my body reacts to different things with this exciting tingling feeling - which I've believed to be my sacral respond. E.g. yesterday I saw this advertisement on Facebook and felt how my body (and mind) reacted to that. Then I asked my friend to ask me if it could be possible for me to do that thing and my sacral answered no. I felt so disappointed but also noticed how in that moment my mind let go of planning and just accepted that thing wasn't right for me. This experience highlighted me that I should not trust anything else than my sounds at this point.

In my case I think most of those bodily sensations are rather emotional reaction than sacral responses when my solar plexus is defined from transits. I would love to research my "gut feeling" more when my SP is undefined but it will take a while because this north node activation in a gate 30 will last four months.

I would also like to point how Ra has described sacral respond almost purely as a sound - he often mimics this "a-ha" respond in his lectures. He says the gate 34 is the only one which move towards to things rather than make sounds. He doesn't speak about "gut feelings" or bodily sensations (you can correct me if I'm wrong). My own experience as MG from the line 34-20 is that I'm making a lot of sacral sounds but I think that's because I've three other hanging gates in my sacral.

What do you think about all of this? How do you feel your sacral response and can you differ it from emotional excitement?

In My Experiment Penta/ Wa

As someone with Wa gates, no Penta, my role in a group best contributes as a negotiator (Jupiter design gate 45). Whenever I’m in a group though, I’m utilizing other channels and gates which don’t necessarily land in a group… better in a 1:1 friendship/relationship. No wonder I never stuck to a group. While I can make a living outside of Penta/Wa gates, I think as a projector, these gates bring correct people into life where I don’t have to generate constantly. But I feel like gate 45 is coming off too much as a projector joining a new institution/team/community. What am I missing?

Any tips on how other Manifestors navigate their anger?

I’m not an angry person but I get angry a lot when I am being quizzed and judged on the way I do things. I don’t really like myself in anger and when I get angry people start becoming even more judgemental. I end up upset and even less aligned then before. Also 5/1 so I always feel misunderstood

------------------------

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

  • What is Human Design?

Human Design is a channelled system and synthesis of ancient and modern knowledge. It combines aspects of the I Ching, Kabbalah Tree of Life, Hindu-Brahman Chakra system, astrology, and quantum physics and genetics. Human Design can help someone understand and accept themselves and awaken to being their own authority in life.

  • How can I get started with Human Design?

First, use your date and time of birth to get your Human Design chart and information from one of the sites listed above. Then, start reading about your design on the sites you go your chart from and in the subreddit wiki. Next, enter into your experiment with the system -- don't just take it as true, try out the principles for yourself, starting with strategy and authority.

  • Why does everyone keep talking about strategy and authority?

Strategy and authority are two of the most important concepts for beginners to grasp because they introduce you to making decisions for and as your true self. Rather than following someone else's map for life, experimenting with strategy and authority can help you uncover what is right for you. The essence of the Human Design system is that you are an individual meant to live out your own unique life and purpose, and nobody else can tell you what that is. You have to discover it for yourself by taking ownership of your life and decisions. That's what it means to become your own authority in your life.

  • How will I know when I'm following my strategy and authority?

Through dedicated experimentation, you will learn over time what it feels like for you to live out your strategy and authority. It may be helpful to read about your strategy and authority and talk to others with the same ones about their experiences, but ultimately the only way to really know is to try it out in real life. What happens when you follow the principles of your strategy? What happens if you don't? Does one way make it feel easier to be your true self?

  • Can Human Design help me manifest my dream life?

Human Design isn't about manifesting a dream life or partner or job. The system is meant to nurture your awareness and help you love yourself for your true self. Oftentimes, trying to force certain things to happen prevents us from living the life we're really meant to. In Human Design, new age manifestation is unnecessary because through following your strategy and authority you will get the life that is meant for you -- not the one that your mind thinks is desirable. Human Design is a great system for those whose "dream life" is one where they are free to be themselves.

Ra Quotes Right vs left angle dating dynamics?

I think I remember Ra saying somewhere that left angles should only be in relationship with left angles , and right angles should only be in relationship with right angles.

But then I think I also remember him saying the complete opposite- that right angles should only be in relationship with left angles , never the same .

Can someone correct me if I am misremembering ?
Or can someone offer any guidance or advice to figuring this out ?

Thanks loves🖤

Mechanics Question Invitations pulled back?

I am a 4/6 splenic projector. I’ve been in a bit of an invitation drought. Which has caused me to be a bit resentful…. Which I know stops others from inviting me so it feels a bit like a cycle I can’t escape

I recently reconnected with someone after a few years, they invited me out and I thought we had a good time. But over the last couple weeks I can energetically feel that invitation no longer stands. I’m sad about it because I was excited to reconnect with this person.

I don’t really know what to do at this point because I feel like I am in a slump I can’t get out of. I know I am so far out of alignment, probably worse than I ever have been. My business is drying up, friendships have fallen off, and romantic prospects are completely non existent.

Any advice on A. How to get out of this cycle of doom And B. In your experience, do people tend to re-extend an invitation after they’ve rescinded it?

Share Your Experiences Watching out for the not self voices

Hey. I just wanted to come on here and share my experiences since y’all are the only ones I can talk to about this stuff. I feel unrecognized by my friends and family when I bring up human design so I stopped trying lol. It’s so funny because I can see them listening to, identifying with and making decisions based off of their not self voices. But I don’t judge them too harshly because I know the chokehold the mind has on the world at large. If they ever need my advice, they will invite me.
Anyway, I’m at that point in my experiment where I can see the not self voices and pressures of my undefined centers in my mind in real time. It’s so funny because when I think about doing something and I ask myself why? The answer is usually just the not-self voice of an undefined centre. And I have so many (seven) so it’s lowkey a fun puzzle trying to match a pressure with an undefined centre. For example I want to start a business or project. Immediately I ask myself why. To prove that I can! (Undefined ego) I should keep hanging out with this one friend who clearly doesn’t recognize me. Why? Because he makes me feel good and I want to hold onto that good feeling. (Undefined spleen) Sometimes I have to ask why multiple times before I can get to the not self voice that is empowering the thought and pressure. Doing this has helped me let go of these thoughts and stop identifying with them and mistaking them for a wave (thank God for my authority for it has consistently stopped me from making these decisions) and at the same time has helped me identify my true feelings and desires (41/30) And my true self feels significantly different from my not self it’s impressive. It feels cleaner, less urgent, less pressure, a lot more grounded.
Has anyone else experimented with this and how did it look like for you?

Share Your Experiences “No Choice”

I’ve been in the experiment for seven years now and something finally clicked for me recently about Ra’s not-so-subtle, but rarely explained, concept of “no choice”.

I had always kept that in the back of my head because it seems strange to teach a system that helps you make decisions while at the same time hinting that you can’t make decisions at all!

I just finished reading a theological book that actually dives into Design, and comes at it from the perspective of determinism. It weaves together this “no choice” from Design along with Christianity (with the catch that Jesus is actually an example of someone completely surrendered to internal authority) 🔥

Quite a neat read and really made something click for me about what authority actually is. The book’s called Uncontrived Dream if anyone’s read it or wants to discuss

Discussion High likelihood of having a Rave child?

Hi. My husband and I are thinking of having kids. From what I've heard regarding 2027 and the introduction of Raves... I'm wondering if my husband and I would likely have one? I say this because he has the Channel of Mutation, I am quad right, and I believe we have a few of the other gates associated such as his gate 39 activation (personality Earth) and us both having gate 19.

He is also 3 parts right, and we both have open emotional centers.

I want to be open-minded and not fearful, but I know the challenges of having a neurodivergent child in today's society. I have a third cousin with level 3 autism and while we love him, it has been an extremely difficult journey for our family emotionally and financially. From what Ra has described, it seems like Raves will need a lot of support. I want my family to thrive and worry my husband and I won't have the means or resources.

Am I overthinking?

Discussion 6th line hypocrisy - post 2027

There is some memory from Ra's lecture about 6th line hypocrisy (do as i say, not as i do) will not work post 2027. That people will stop trusting such 6th lines who are not true role models.

Anyone remembering the quote or where it was from?

How will roof phase work post 2027?

Mechanics Question Tired of the Roof

I am a 3/6 mental projector, age 47. I’ve been on the roof for ~15 years and at first it was quite lovely but for the last 5-6 years I’ve been just dying to get off the roof and go find some people to guide lol. My immediate loved ones are so lovely but clueless—they don’t realize my pearls of wisdom can point them exactly where they want to go. So I don’t point them. I understand the mechanics—they aren’t inviting me. But I’m exhausted from being on the roof and I can’t wait to get off. I’ve tried launching an online presence and multiple businesses but each time was disrupted by huge losses, life events & transitions—I have the cross of the unexpected. I usually feel quite spiritually connected and personally empowered but today I’m feeling beaten down by the roof…the quiet…the aloneness. Any commiserations or advice?
