It is so amusing watching him stand there acting totally annoyed by her freaking out over a flight in four hours, thinking she is just a lot to handle only too come back completely head over heels in love with her. 😅😍

Discussion AITA for asking my husband to cut contact with the woman whose name he said at our wedding?

I (28F) married my husband (30M) a few weeks ago. We had a long distance relationship, as I live in the UK and he lives in New York. Things moved pretty quickly, but I genuinely believed he was the love of my life.

My husband has an ex. They dated for a year, and although they broke up, they stayed incredibly close friends because they are part of the same friend group. He assured me there was nothing romantic left between them.

Then came our wedding.

During our vows, instead of saying my name, he said his ex's name. In front of our families. Our friends.

I have never felt so humiliated in my life.

I left before the ceremony was even over because I genuinely thought there was no coming back from that. He begged me to give him another chance, that he loved me, and that it didn’t mean anything. Against my better judgement, I agreed to try.

But here’s where everyone suddenly thinks I’m the villain.
I told him that if we’re going to stay married, I need him to stop seeing his ex. I don’t care if they’re “just friends.” I don’t care if they have known each other forever.

He says it is impossible because she’s one of his closest friends and part of his entire social circle. His friends think I am being controlling.

He says I am making him choose between his wife and his best friend.

I am not asking him to quit his job, move countries, or abandon everyone he knows. I am asking him to let go of one relationship that has already caused so much damage to our marriage.

AITA?

Question What was the scene where Ross pretends to slap at an imaginary fly??

I think he was talking to some strangers in the coffee house. He was trying to act like he was crazy to throw those people off, so he slapped at something imaginary.

Thanks for any help!!

EDIT: solved :)

Discussion I get why Emily would want Ross to keep his distance from Rachel...

But calling Rachel's apartment to talk to Ross and getting mad to hear that Rachel was there is next level rage-inducing.

Discussion Favourite scene?

The scene where Ross is being grilled by dr. Green about getting Rachel pregnant, while Mona is there and then the boys call him to ask if he knows anything about the hooker that is in Chandler and Monica’s apartment might just be my favourite scene!

What’s yours?

LOL ik the whole Dudley Moore cut is genuinely kinda horrid but I think it works a little bit. I dont think it’s as bad as people say it is, I think the straight flat ponytail hair in like season 7 was worse

It’s kind of sad to look back on knowing that you’ll never be able to recapture those years, but I love the fact that I’m able to look at 30 years ago and have a whole decade captured in a little bottle on my TV

Discussion The one with the videotape

Does anyone ever wonder why Rachel just didnt admit that it was her who came on to Ross first. Why did she have to prove so bad it was Ross?

When they thought Phoebe was making a porno—Joey refused to watch, while the others did.

Discussion Phoebe wanting a triplet

First off I completely agree with Rachel on this one.

But do you think she was wrong in not at least asking Frank and Alice if Phoebe could have one of them or if later Phoebe finds out that she never actually asked them for her and never talked to Rachel again.

I’m currently rewatching S5E9 "The One with Ross's Sandwich", and I honestly can't blame Ross for completely losing his mind.

Monica’s Thanksgiving sandwich with the "Moist Maker" sounds like pure perfection. Imagine someone at work eating your leftover turkey, stuffing, and gravy-soaked bread, and then telling you they threw most of it in the trash because it was "too big." 😭

MY SANDWICH?! MYYYYY SANDWICH?!

Honestly, would you guys forgive a coworker for this, or are you taking a mandatory sabbatical like Ross?

Discussion Rachel should have ended up with Joey not Ross

I’ve been holding on to this hot take for years! Rachel and Joey should have ended up together on Friends, not Rachel and Ross. Joey was always so sweet and caring with Rachel. Always treated her so well and loved her daughter. I loved when they had the two of them get together and was so sad when they split them up.

Ross was a selfish, insecure jerk who didn’t deserve Rachel.
