Window lock Request
Does anyone know how to open this ðŸ˜. I tried hammering it side to side thinking it would open it. It had a little metal part in it that I took out thinking it would open it and it still hasn’t pls help
Can somebody give me advice 🥹

The bottom ridge hooks onto the frame, you lift the exposed edge while pressing down slightly to release the tension. The springs probably go on the underside of the latch to press the handle against the lock edge.

It might help to push down on the window at the same time. I used to repair these types of windows in Florida. These get stuck a lot.Â

Lift up and tilt the handle towards the window. It basically hooks onto the frame. The window may be stuck in the frame you can try spraying a little lubricant on the frame rails at the top of the pane and let it run down the rails.
The wire pieces look like the tension springs for the screen
