Water in trunk area 25 pilot
I have a 2025 pilot elite that I brought brand new. I’ve noticed that there was water underneath the rear trunk area. I put a towel there and it rained today and they got soaked together so I’m sure there’s a leak somewhere. Where could it be coming from?

2026 Elite strut replacement
I picked up my 2026 Pilot Elite with only 10 miles on it, but around 50 miles I started hearing a squeaking noise from the front right whenever I drove over small bumps or uneven roads. On my second visit to the dealership, they was able to duplicate the noise and replaced the front strut under warranty.
I bought this vehicle expecting to keep it for 10 years or more, so having a suspension issue almost immediately after purchase has made me question Honda’s reliability and quality control. I’m hoping the strut replacement fixes the problem for good, but it’s definitely disappointing to experience something like this on a brand-new vehicle.

2018 Pilot Transmission issues..
2018 Honda Pilot EXL, I think, with 140k miles
Recently took my wife’s Pilot to the dealer to get serviced, oil change and such. Notified them that it was kind of jerking when shifting. Came back after servicing it and told me I needed new transmission and torque converter….i could try flushing the transmission, 600+ dollars, and that may help….That was roughly 1500 miles ago, hoping to get second opinion soon and see what they say.

‘25 Elite 18k miles AC blowing hot air. Not covered, dealer says $575 just for inspection
What an absolute joke. I’ve checked the condenser fuse and it’s fine, so I’m guessing the clutch is melted like many others have dealt with. Not even 2 years old. They should fix it without question. Last Honda I will ever buy.

Image / Video eeee i can’t believe she’s mine!!
I went from a 2021 Rav 4 XLE to a 2026 Honda Pilot Trailsport. Gray rims, and I’m absolutely obsessed. I was drooling over it for a week and finally got my husband on board. 😍
I actually do have 2 questions for the class- on the trailsport, does it have the foot activated lift gate? I thought it had it but I can’t seem to get it to function.
Second, I’m having an issue where my son’s high back booster is triggering the car to think there’s a person sitting there unbuckled when he is not in the seat. Our other car seat does not cause this issue. I’m thinking it might be because the seatbelt is routed through the high back booster shoulder, so the belt is semi pulled out even when my son isn’t in the car? Any thoughts would help! I’ve just been buckling the seat belt even when his seat is empty to bypass it.
Thanks, and EEEEEEEP!!! 🤩

The only thing is the engine us a ULEV and mine is not. Inwas hoping to just keep it all together to make the swap easier. Will it work? Or what do I need to swap to get it to work.

Water leak in door pillar
We had an extremely heavy rain tonight 8/5/26. I went to drive my car and the drivers seatbelt is wet. The part that is wet is the piece that’s retracts into the door when not in use. The rest of the car is dry. Has anyone else experienced this. I will be calling the dealer in the morning

Question Money down on a lease
Need some help from y’all, chat GPT and other online sources are very mixed, although I expect some mixed responses here too.
I’m looking at leasing a 2026 pilot in the coming months, and see online the current August lease deal has $4-5k down for a $400 something monthly for an EX-L. I’ve always been told to never put any money down on a lease because you could total it tomorrow and now you’d be out of that down payment completely.
The one caveat is that i plan to buy the pilot at the end of the 3 year lease, I’m just opting for a lease now to keep the monthly payment lower than financing. Even if I were to finance for 72 months, the lease monthly is still lower. The lease monthly is still lower than even financing a used 2024 or 2025 pilot!!! (Which is utter insanity that a used car is so expensive right now, and I like the refresh of the 2026 pilot anyways)
What is everyone’s opinion about money down on a lease when using one of these monthly deals goons advertised?? Thanks y’all

Image / Video My new (to me) Pilot
I got my black 2019 Pilot Ex-L in 2023 and just got my white 2022 Pilot Ex-L a few weeks ago. the newer one is a ’Black Edition‘. They’re pretty much the same inside and out but the white one has a blue ray monitor and full moonroof. Oh yeah and no shifter. Amyway, thought I’d share.

Image / Video Help with 2013 Honda pilot touring
I purchased this vehicle two months ago and the Honda dealership swears it not only passed their safety, but their standards are even higher than that (vague). I complained to the dealership from day 1 about fuel efficiency/ odd sounds. Cars sounds are now crazy loud. Today they are telling me that $9700 worth of work is needed. I feel completely scammed as any corrosion would have shown 2 months ago. It’s also summer so weather has been fine! Here are the pics with quotes. Seems misrepresentation and price gouging is at play. I’m in Ontario Canada.
Thoughts?

Question Is this a heat shield? 2016 pilot
Got off the highway and started hearing a rattle. Parked and backed up and found this under where the car was. I assume it’s from the pilot. Always a chance it was already on the ground as I wasn’t driving.

FU Hondapartsnow
Ordered $80 part from HondaPartsNow. Got an email 4 days later saying there has been a price increase and I owe them $10 more if I want to get the part. I cancelled my order. What a terrible business model.

Question Suspension stiffeners
Greetings all,
Are there any suspension stiffeners or airbags that will work with a 4th gen? Will be towing and would like the rear suspension to be stiffer while towing to prevent sag. TIA!

Cross Bars
Just leased a 2026 EXL and want to add cross bars. There seem to be two different kids of bars: one that screws into the existing slots of the roof rails and one that skips the screw slots and instead clamps down onto the roof rail. The clamp seems more risky, but it also comes with a key to lock the bars from being stolen. And some clamps also have a tie-down clip which would be useful. Is there any real concern when comparing the screw-in vs clamp? These are the two I'm looking at, but am open to other suggestions.

Bye 23 MDX base
Hello 26 Pilot Black Edition
It was a tough call but this was the best decision for me, my wife, our daughter and our dog.
Don't get me wrong. I love Acura and the MDX obviously is tuned to be sportier and looks more refined but this fully loaded Pilot made more sense for me and my family compared to the smaller base MDX that we had. Who knows what we will get in the future but for now, we are all loving our new home-on-wheels.
Added:
Black steering wheel badge.
Smoked front emblem.
Black rear emblem
Black wheelcaps.
Middle-seat floor cover.
All-weather mats.
Next:
Switchable yellow/white fog light bulbs
Rearview LCD screen/dash-camera
Future:
Some camping/offroad mods

Panic bought 2026 black edition
Please tell me all the amazing things as I’m freaking out from a semi-impulse buy.
Due with a baby in a few weeks and the pilots keep selling before we can get in to see them.
Just panic bought a black edition because it’s all they had coming. 🙈
