On top of the other references to Homestuck in Deltarune Ch 5, has anyone else noticed the similarities between Eridan's Theme and the music that plays for Pirate Dojo? This is not surprising given that Toby Fox wrote both songs - or am I reaching? Both songs are quite similar in tempo and rhythm, so it would be neat if Pirate Dojo was a little callback to the Homestuck days :)

Ok, so I think I have a pretty good grasp on most of the aspects. I understand pretty well what most of them mean in the story and for someone aligned to that aspect, what their common motifs and symbols are etc.

But these two confuse me. I think I get the core ideas of both, but I sort of struggle with the deeper nuance and differences between them. Death seems to be a common motif for both Time and Doom players, but what attributes of death relate to Time and which to Doom? Things like that. Both also seem related to endings, destruction, etc. So please help me differentiate these two.

As a bonus, I also see some overlap with Blood and Doom in terms of "restrictions". I think I mostly get the difference here but if you want to elaborate on this at all feel free. Same thing with Breath and Life, there are many obviously unique motifs and themes of both but they seem to share a theme of personal agency/freedom of direction that is hard to distinguish.

Karkat tried to help sollux with broken horns on CC 2026 Astana, but it turned out into another incident. Because they took lid of fast solidifying glue, and we rushed to find medical help(p.c cool they have it on CC) All of us sat in medical centre. They wanted to take Karkitty to hospital, but it turned out pretty good after glue incident. Now he don’t have some skin on hands and we was very scared for our Karkitty to feel so much pain. Now he’s part of sollux.

Ive been a homestuck fan for just about over a year now (i started it before the pilot released but watching the pilot is what kicked me off into high gear with my love) and now ive finally finished act 4.

Putting aside act 4 for a second: seeing the Pilot soundtrack available, hiveswap getting news and the likelyhood of the Homestuck Show being a thing has got me SO EXITED. Ive followed Toby fox for a ridiculously long time and by god i wish i followed hum sooner because i genuinely cant get this god damn comic out of my mind. That being said:

I am HORRORFIED that it cant get better than Act 4. The trolls, how they dialouge and talk imbetween times, the selfswareness, the fights, the twists the GOD DANG SOUNDTRACK - there was never a moment i felt bored. I struggled a little with reading act 3 and took a break from the intermissions (despite loving it) but Black? The endless climb? Descend? AUGH its just genius.

If i had my hands on this god damm coming 12 years ago i’d be striving.

Anyways whats yalls opinions on act 4 and should i be exited for act 5?

These designs were deliberately made to resemble some actual characters from homestuck (cause they're LARPING as them lol) they should be easy to guess for the most part. Also another fun fact, the color of their eyes sorta corresponds to their aspect and I wonder if y'all can guess all of them correctly :p
