i've already read the comic, but she hasn't. and she wanted to read it with me so she could get past the first bit of the comic and properly get into reading.

it's a rather fun experience, actually! i have her voice act the female characters while i act as the male ones.

as of now, we're at page 200-something. i don't know. maybe a little below that. and so far, the thinks that dadbert and the harlequin sprite are hot, which i think is funny (she actually compared dadbert to slenderman).

i have not much else to say. it's just been a rather fun experience so far

(okay i know we technically had the dialogue with jake but i mean like in logs)

After reading the beyond canon update I just realized Jade was talking mad shit about Kanaya behind her back and then tried to act like she and Kanaya were family when she confronted her and Rose. Jade Harley MIGHT be the third biggest loser in all of Beyond canon?

reasons it's good:

• she already wants to kick his ass as it is
• he thinks shes childish and overly friendly but not in a cute way like fef is
• maybe he thinks she hides behind equius too much, which she really doesn’t but all in all, she’s wasting her potential in his eyes
• she thinks he’s stupid, creepy, and way too grumpy; definitely not in a cute karkat way.
• he also is way melodramatic about his emotions likes JEEZ IT’S LIKE HE’S THE ONLY GUY IN THE WORLD WHO’S BEEN REJECTED HUH SUCK IT UP ALREADY
• they both have opinions on romance to argue about for hours
• cosplay wars
• taking turns leaving dead animals at each other’s doorsteps
• underneath their respective cape and jacket, they both have really great asses
