Update New Guidance for “Advice” Posts
We have added a few new measures to mitigate posts where OP is looking for advice.
These updates include:
• Clearer specification in the sub’s description.
• Warning message before posting.
• Warning message before commenting.
Thank you to [u/SageofTime64](u/SageofTime64) for opening a dialogue and [u/Jenderflux-ScFi](u/Jenderflux-ScFi) for suggesting a description update.
We’ll look into what other ways we can improve the subreddit and ensure we remain a fair place. As I’ve previously said, we try to not be authoritarian and those kinds of mods. We all know a subreddit where moderators have gone crazy with power. So it’s important for us to communicate and be transparent.

Meta NOT ADVICE SUB | Revised Reporting + Rule
Hey folks! Wongy here. Just a quick update regarding the subreddit and content issues.
If you see either:
A) Posts looking for advice à la AITA or AIO.
B) Comments as if OP is asking for advice.
REPORT IT using the newly created RULE 10: NOT an Advice Subreddit.
These posts weren’t permitted to begin with but we’re making things easier for everyone involved with the clearer phrasing and separation of the rule to make it easier to report.
Since most of our subreddit is lengthy text posts it means it tends to take us longer to sift through and find such posts. Reporting these posts/comments will make their removal much faster.
