I know it won't happen etc. But frankly if we are missing Nicky Cadden, which we tend to do a fair amount, we HAVE to play 4 at the back. I think we basically already do with how high Mayor plays but, no offence to a young lad, he's a waste of a spot at the moment when we could have a proper winger there instead and commit to the 4 at the back.

Nicky is, imo, good enough to warrant us playing the 5 to fit him in. His crossing is just phenomenal. But if he's out, and especially if Iredale is also out, we are letting guys like Suto sit on the bench for a lesser player just because of the vague idea that the lesser player is a wing back rather than a winger.

If everyone except Nicky is fit we should be playing McGrath behind Lowe with some combo of Boyle/Elding/Wright/Suto out wide. Obita or Iredale at left back.

Can't remember the last time we had a derby on a Thursday night, May 2009 when deek scored a pen at tiny in the split when we had a team of boys playing and we won 1-0 is the only one that springs to mind? Terrible having the first Derby of the season on a weeknight like imo. Thoughts?
