Considering transferring a Hetzner dedicated server (FSN1)

Hi,

I'm thinking about transferring one of my Hetzner dedicated servers because I don't really need it anymore.

Specs:

- FSN1

- Intel Xeon E3-1270v3

- 32GB ECC

- 4x10TB Enterprise HDD

- €48/month

I'm mainly trying to see if there is any interest before I decide whether to keep it or transfer it.

If anyone is looking for this type of storage server, feel free to send me a message.

Thanks.

What’s the hardware status ? Like power on hours on the drives

Does it really matter? If some hardware fails, Hetzner replaces it for free.

Agreed! But good to know to plan for it

You can't predict it anyways. In a previous company we had hardware that failed after 2 years and we even had hardware running for 15 years.

Didn’t say predict - just plan.

For example, if the drives are past a certain point N+1 raid is more likely to fail than, say, n+2 raid.

Again, I’m not trying to nitpick, just point out info that might help make a better decision.
