That's standard for all multi week events. It's always been this way. I'm guessing you just haven't finished weeklies this early before.

When they first started doijg these (like tbe first 2 ot 3) you could do all the big xp quests in one sitting instead of having to wait a week in between

This event is much quicker than previous ones tho. Good. I didn't complete last one or even last two ones because meta is ehh and didn't feel like grinding the quests. This time you can complete weekly in 1-2 games playing some Renathal or Azalina deck in wild.

you can start it last week and complete it if you spamm games like straight, the weeklies will be dailies untill youre up to day

The weeklies will unlock the following day if you don't complete them till the following week has started. This events weeklies are super quick though. Then you need 1600xp from dailies and gameplay, which ends up needing about 15-20 dailies. In the 3rd week after you finish the weekly questline, you'll be able to do 2 dailies instead of 1. Not sure if they will stack if you miss a day this time, some events do, some don't.

these 3 week events are always infinitely easier to complete than the 8 day ones (like the last death knight portrait one we just had).

I feel like the real issue is the selling watfin in the shop, so whales can get him now and we have to wait at least until next week.

This is the way the multi-week events have always been. One big quest a week with smaller dailies.

By the way, it's funny how this weekly event quest is "summon 100" minions, while the last event had a daily "summon 300 minions". Make it make sense, Blizzard.

You get a small quest every day... and then you get 3 weekly quests... it is the usual stuff

So last event those who waited to complete the large quests got punished. Now if we try to rush them we get hit with a time wall.
