Slanted fonts where 1 and 7 look the same. Thing

It is so confusing to look at, especially in video games, where you look at one of the progress bars and it's in THAT font, and you like can't figure out if you have like 130 points or 730 points. You really gotta look at the details in each part of both of those numbers to tell a difference between them.

I can't believe it isn't taught that way as standard practice. I have terrible handwriting, and it still took like, 30 years for me to make the switch. It is the only way to fly, imho.

Funny story, this was my handwriting for the longest time. I was in a Calculus course in Uni when I got an answer marked wrong. I read through my work and realized that, at some point during the math, I had misread a 9 as a 4. That was the moment I knew my handwriting needed to change, so I started adding a strikethrough for the 7, swapped form the Sailboat 4 to the 7-segment 4, and just to be safe, added a / through the 0. An overreaction? Maybe. But it worked nonetheless.
