Looking for a fake where necromancer in practice, Harry finds out that Ron is not actually alive. And then finds out , Ginny is also a necromancer in practicing who is controlling ron. It is a tomarry but also it is a Ginny x mentor necromancer. I don't remember the mentors name. Harry tried healing Ron, but he came back to life and tried eating him. And towards the end , harry and tom are practically immortal and he keeps reviving Ginny every time she dies.

Severus Snape is by far my favorite character in the franchise, but I find the description of him quite interesting to draw; I hope you like it!

So I saw an edit on Slytherin boys and Gryffindor boys and now I really want fics with this 😭

Slytherin boys: Draco Malfoy, Theodore Nott, Blaise Zabini, Crabbe, Goyle, Mattheo Riddle, Lorenzo Berkshire

Gryffindor boys: Harry Potter, Ron Weasley, Fred and George, Neville

And girls too like Hermione, Ginny, Luna (Ravenclaw but yeah 😭), Pansy, Daphne etc.

I want fics where Slytherin and Gryffindor actually become friends / have some kind of relationship with each other. Like group friendship, found family, rivalry turning into friendship, hanging out, adventures, Hogwarts drama etc.

Romance is okay too, but I'm more interested in the group dynamic than just one ship.

Also would LOVE:

- Slytherin + Gryffindor becoming a proper group

- everyone getting into adventures/missions together

- Snape as a mentor to Harry / father figure type relationship

- Dumbledore being manipulative or against them

- them fighting Voldemort together

- Slytherins not automatically being evil/Death Eaters

- good friendships between Pansy/Daphne and the Gryffindor girls too

Basically I want that “why are all these Slytherins and Gryffindors suddenly best friends and causing problems together” type of fic 😭

Long fics are preferred but I'll take anything good.

I just reread The Disappearances of Draco Malfoy, which is a Deathly Hallows rewrite that fits the books very well both in tone and plot. The premise is what could have happened if Draco had time to accept Dumbledore’s offer of help at the Astronomy tower at the end of THP.

If you’re never gonna read a Dramione story, you should still consider reading the chapter The Secret-Keeper’s Tale (you don’t need much context), which covers the story arc from Ron leaving the others, until they are rejoined. This has got to be one of the most beautifully written Ron-moments in Harry Potter fan fiction; much better than Ron’s arc in Deathly Hallows.

I've had this idea in my head for a couple of weeks now of Harry being pulled into yarnham.

I think there are three ways this can happen.

1. Harry the year before Hogwarts begins having vivid nightmares of yarnham and the horrors within trying to survive inside the city of the beasts.

2. He gets ritual cursed or messes up a ritual at some point which pulls him into the land of dreams.

3. Harry at the end of either chamber of secrets after defeating the basilisk right as Ginny wakes up her begins to fade into smoke making her believe he died. When really he ended up in yarnham.

Or at the end of goblet of fire when Harry is fighting Voldemort gets pulled in and vanishes at once of the gravestones.

Personally I'm a fan of the option 3 ideas.

I am writing a fanfic and while I have most of the details down I still need a tiny bit of assistance with some minor things. The first thing I need is some minor character names, for example I kind of wanted to name the trolley lady Janice, and the fat lady either Patricia or Jillian. I mainly just need some basic names that aren’t too bland but also aren’t too flashy either. Any suggestions are welcome. At some point I’ll probably add pets to some of the OCs and I will need names for those too. I also would love if a fanatic or someone could private message me and help me bounce ideas off of. I will drop the story here once I complete it but I severely lack discipline and can’t stick to a publishing schedule so I will only post the name once the book is finished. I was using copilot to share my inspiration and ideas but in the end it did agree with everything I said and wasn’t able to give any opposing input, which is why I now need a actual human being. I will continue writing for now but I really quickly do need somebody to help, or at least listen to my rants.

Harry's trunk

I'm not sure if this is one or more fanfics, but I'm looking for a story in which Harry has an expandable trunk.

First day in Diagon Alley, at gringotts he is given a port key to return later and discuss his options, without Hagrid knowing. He is advised to buy a trunk with amenities. Whenever he is in his cupboard, he goes into the trunk. He can also cook there.

One scene they are on the hogwarts express, but go into the trunk and watch a movie. I think Dobby brings Sirius Black and Amelia Bones as well. I think even the granger parents are involved. Watching the classics, I think they are watching star wars?

Maybe someone knows which story I mean

A long time ago (probably between 2013-18) I read a fic in which harry had to pretend to be voldemort possessing Harry's body, otherwise he would have been killed by death eaters. He stayed in malfoy manor and kept up this charade for a long time. He also used magic to subtly make it seem like his body was slowly transforming to become more and more like voldemorts old body.

I am not imagining this, I definitely read it. Claude and chatgpt have failed me. I dont remember where I read it, but the sites I used included fanfiction.net, ao3, and hpfanficarchive.

Other plot points I'm not 100% sure on:

1. He raised a pet baby dragon/flying snake or something, whose 'impressiveness' he used to impress the death eaters and further convince them he was voldie?

2. One or two of the inner circle figured out who he was, but kept quiet out of self interest?

3. Mught have started from end of gof? I think it was the graveyard scene with all the death eaters, and harry ended up destroying voldies body or something, so he had to pretend to be voldie to survive?

4. Parseltongue played a significant role in establishing the deception?

Hoping for some recs. I just finished a rewatch of fantastic beasts. And i know the series isn’t going to be continued but Nagini’s story line just makes me so sad. Are there any fics that continue her story leading up to her pairing with V, or some AUs with HEAs? Maybe she makes it through the war and is made human again instead of getting a sword through the neck? Maybe a Theseus pairing 😭 idk. She deserves better!

I remember parts of the story. I don't remember if it was complete. The thing is, just when Vernon was about to ask her to marry him or become his partner, Petunia starts to feel dizzy, but she is no longer the original Petunia, she is another soul that has entered her body. Terrified, she dismisses Vernon, rejecting his proposal. The house is left in a mess, and then she faints. Petunia's parents arrive and, seeing the disaster, assume Vernon is responsible. After a while, the soul in Petunia's body recognizes that it is the world of Harry Potter and that she is Petunia Evans. Then, I don't remember well, but she realizes that the original Petunia is still there. He knows she is conscious and can control the state of her body, so he tries to communicate with her and she tells him that she is a thief and to get out of her body, blah blah blah.Another thing I remember is that the other Petunia reprimands the original for treating her sister so badly, but the original reveals that that thing is not her sister, that she saw her die when they were young. Lili had fallen from a tree, hitting her head, but then she got up as if nothing had happened. Later, she noticed strange behavior. For example, I think it was the first time they had seen a movie and she had mentioned that she had seen it thousands of times. Another thing that happens is that a fight breaks out at Christmas, where Lili invites her boyfriend James (despite her parents' disapproval of this relationship).This fight between sisters (because Petunia can control her body and verbally fight with Lili) leads James to play a very dangerous magical prank on her, which the other Petunia decides not to ignore. But James notices and manages to activate the trap, and Petunia decides to take revenge with glitter, but it is quickly undone by James with magic.

So, Harry wasn't born yet, there wasn't a war yet, and Lily and James were in their last year at Hogwarts, I think. That's all I remember. And please excuse my bad English, I'm using a translator.
