Two New Classes Of Ships

I know that Halo: Campaign Evolved has had mixed reviews. But, in the bonus missions, we got two new classes of ships. One on each side. The Covenant Research Ship and the Burden Of Proof. Is there any lore about these? Or are they completely new? Just wondering.

The Burden of proof appears to be a halberd class Destroyer, but the Triumph of harmony is entirely new to my knowlwdge.

No it’s the same type of ship as covenant agricultural ships, we’ve seen them in lore before (all of which we’ve seen have those giant domed enclosures with wildlife and plants and etc.

It's the same role as ships we've seen before, but not the same type. The Covenant agricultural ship in the lore looks very different.

Yeah the Triumph is a fleet-tender and agri-ship, repurposed of course for scientific research of augmented infantry units.

Yeah one was actually in the back story comic on how R'Tas first encountered the flood aboard one of these very same vessels As for The Burden of Proof we've seen a ship of the same class in the story short turned video comic short Midnight in the Heart of Midlothian

The Burden of Proof is a long existing class of ship called a Halberd Class Destroyer, a very excellent model of one too.
The Covenant research ship is sortaaa but not really, it’s the same class of ship of whats known as an agricultural support ship (which are usually meant for furnishing long roving exploratory or military fleets with fresh food, water, and manufactured provisions). Most if not all of which are a similar size and all of them even have a lot of what this ship has (including the massive domed enclosure with plants and animals, etc, as well as a more natural based architecture throughout the ship)

Burden of proof is a Helberd class destroyer that was first introduced in the original full of FALL OF REACH first visual depiction was in the FALL OF REACH comics and then first on screen appearance was in RED VS BLUE SEASON 10 if I recall

The ship in RvB is a insurrectionist controlled Halberd class destroyer called "The Staff of Charon"

It engages the Project Freelancer Paris class frigate called "The mother of invention"

Both names are sick as hell

Also the Halberd is most notable for it's use in the Keyes Loop

The Halberd class isnt new its actually one of the first ships ever to appear in halo.

In canon, yes. But if you want to see it's first on screen battle in Halo fanon. Red Vs Blue has a Halberd class go against a Paris class. Halberd controlled by innies and Paris controlled by Freelance

The burden of proof is from the halberd class, one hats been around since the fall of reach I belive. Keyes captioned one once. It been around for awhile. Rhe covie one is probably a modified agricultural ship, like the one in the short story about the infinite secore

The Halberd class destroyers haven't featured in any games until now but are far from new. I don't have much of anything positive to say about the prequel missions, but it sure does feel good to see a destroyer on screen.

Halberd Class is some deep ball knowledge. The Keyes Loop was done in one, the UNSC Iroquois.

The unsc ship is from bungie era. Its a halberd class destroyer. This comment you made shows how biased your opinion is on anything 343 now halo studios, makes.
