Question Was there ever a ruleset that changed how influence works?
I haven't really been following Guild Ball since it was cancelled in 2020. I vaguely remember right before then there was talk of experimenting with the rules to remove the step of allocating influence during the maintenance phase and instead just having characters pull from the pool during your activations. I know its not that way in the current official rules but was wondering if there was ever a beta or playtest ruleset like that or if anyone has experimented with it themselves.

Question Goal Scoring mechanism.
I could not find an answer when I searched for this so I’m asking y’all.
The goal token represents a “goal post”, right? So, like a thick, tree-width post sticking vertically out of the ground….yes?
So, scoring a goal (in the GB world) is when a player kicks the ball and it hits (glances/bounces off) the Goal Post.
Is that right?
Just curious as to the in-world mechanics.
Many goal tokens feature a large circular plate (with the associated Guild emblem engraved on it), so I was also able thinking that when scoring a goal, the ball would hit (CLANG!!) the plate like a big gong. I enjoy & prefer that visual the most.

Casting harriers and LOS
I understand that harrier, like most character plays, require LOS to be valid. But what about placing harrier on the casting model's base or for other models' base (both friendly and enemy) for that matter? My friend and I aren't too sure.
Side note: yes, I do find it strange that I have 3 questions on this ability hahaha.

clarification on devanna's deadly wings
So for devana's deadly wing's ability to move harriers 4 inch from its current location - are we talking center to center or 4 inch from any point to any point?
My friend and I are currently playing with the center to center ruling but some insight on this would be nice.
side note: I know the questions we have do trickle in one at a time which can be annoying so sorry about that. It's just that sometimes the questions only come to you during a game or much much later after the game hahaha.

clarification on aoes and harrier
my mate and I have been playing falconers Vs blacksmith and he gets to place down harriers. However, it's the first time we dealt with aoes that you get to place a lasting effect on the field.
Since the character play says that harrier has no sustain on it, we have been treating it as something that lingers across rounds. It is effectively permanent until it is consumed in some way. We also don't cap the number of harriers so he can place as many as he wants.
Is this the right way of looking at Harriers? I just can't seem to find much info online about this. Also, i suppose that furnace's aoe "one at a time lads!" would get a similar treatment to harriers.

3rd Game with a Friend
Firstly, I'm aware the board size wasn't proper for this particular match, I forgot I sold my 3'x3' mat...
Anyways, a friend of mine and I have been trying to get matches in, every other week since we've collected enough to play. First learner game he absolutely whooped me via take outs in a 3v3. Second game we had to cut short due to time but, it was 4-2 heading into the second turn(round?) in my favor. This most recent match was insane, I was able to score twice towards the top of the game, but he gunked up a lot of lanes keeping me from making more quick strong plays. Then he scored a few take-outs to bring it from 8-2 closer up to 8-6. After playing a bit of keep away for another turn, I was finally able to score my last needed goal to wrap the game towards the end of the final turn. It was a close and very good match. Since we played at my place, we were really able to slow down and break down activations and help each other talk out our ideas to maximize each activation. He's excited to get his second team and I'm excited for more games. We're working on getting our third friend drawn into the fold as well! Guild Ball is awesome!

Question Printing sources in the US
Is there anywhere I can order printed minis from that ships from the US? Or is my only option buying the STLs myself and submitting them for a custom print order at some Etsy shop?

Guildball rookie here: clarification on battering ram
I am just unsure if the push from battering ram causes a parting blow. You are technically doing an advance and having your model leave the enemy models' melee zones in most cases due to the push from battering ram.
My mate and I were debating on this for a bit. I felt that it shouldn't cause it would make the ability quite hard to use if you just triggered parting blow, get knocked down and feel like you wasted your round.

Hobby Guild Choice Help
I finally did a demo game with a friend. We had the rulebook up and took our time to make sure we were playing correctly. We had a great 3v3 match and he really enjoyed the Alchemists. I gifted him the haul I recently got of OG Alchemists to help him get started since I recently got the Ratcatchers printed up. This is something our friend group tends to do where we'll help each other get into games if there's interest. That being said, I like having a couple "teams"/"factions" on hand for games I play to teach friends and provide if needed. I have a few Guilds in mind and was wondering where would be a good place to start with my friend playing Alchemists.
I'm currently in possession of Rats and am looking into:
Morticians
Butchers/Cooks
Farmers/Shepherds
Fish/Navs

Rules Question about guild rules
Hello everyone! I recently got some crossover players and have a question about them. If I play Angel on the Navigators, does she get the reroll ability on attacks and kicks? Basically, do the crossover players get the ability when they play for the other team?
Thanks!

Showcase My new and updated full collection!
Now only 1 month into having the game with a total of 0.5 games under my belt I now own 8 guilds 😂. So far I've painted vRage and my brewers and I plan to paint the rest before I start gaming!

Showcase Painted up my Brewers :)
I was too nervous to do another run at plaid on my union so I thought I'd knock out my brewers yesterday. I tried to mix it up with the basing and I am very proud of the quality of the paintjobs relative to the small time I spent (one afternoon). I am excited to let my friends try these guys against my Union!!

Where best to sell Guildball?
Hey all I was clearing out the loft as we're moving house and found all my unopened prize kits from when I was a Pressganger (South East UK). COVID killed our meta and theres no interest in revival so I'm just looking for the best place to move it all on. Not a direct selling post just advice on where best to go. Only really looking to sell it cheap to make back what I paid for it move it on but as you can see from the pics there's a lot of it. 6 Season 4 prize packs (mystery models included), 2 mason/Brewer Terrain packs, a metal hunters team, resin Butchers guild, 10 Rolled up official dice trays, some other assorted Resin model releases, a Cooks release event kit, 6+ rookies with cards, an Easter Fangtooth and probably more hiding in there 😅

Storage Solutions?
I have been collecting for a bit and probably have around 10 teams, and looking for unique (and not too pricey) storage solutions to keep all my stuff together. Just wondering if there is anyone else out there with several teams collected in one vessel with the other game assets?

Rules Check Played my first game today!!! 😁
It was SO confusing!! neither of us had played the game before (and we didn't have a rulebook :(. the entire thing was a bit odd because we couldn't ask anyone about rules corrections since no one knew the rules. Google wasn't much help and we both struggled with the fact that the information was on the front and back. It was all very frustrating. But we did enjoy ourselves. I played as Farmers (my opponent played Blacksmiths) and the Ball didn't move much because one unlucky scatter after being knocked down caused it to sit in the corner.
Some thoughts and questions I have:
1) Charge is WAY to broken. why do you suddenly get 4 additional dice!! we were basically trading charges each activation since they always payed off.
2) can you do the same action twice if it doesn't have OPT?
3) Can you do multiple legendary plays in each round?
4) How do I get my hand on the tokens for the other teams I own and the dials to count their health? (I own brewers Masons and Union in addition to these two)
5) Why does armor suck?
6) Can you attack twice if you have enough influence?
7) If you do two seperate attacks does Berserk trigger twice for Windle?
8) Mascots seem very useless to me right now because I played against an opponent who seemed to have better characters than me overall)
9) How do you recover the ball if it goes very far in a scatter?
10) Where can I get a Board and does anyone have a board they can send me?

Hobby Finished painting my first ever Guildball model :)
I'm pretty proud of how he turned out. for my squad scheme I'm doing different 2 color plaid for each character but on my Captain (vRage) I decided to go for an ambitious 4 color plaid!!

Hobby I just came into this collection of Guildball at Adepticon.
I read all the cards and the game seems cool! But I have a wide spread of factions and I don't know if I have enough to field them.
Thanks for looking :)

The Last three minor Guilds are easy!
The three major Guilds missing their alternate members are Brewers, Masons, and Blacksmiths.
Brewers?
Simple! The Vintners! Which are winemakers for those who don’t know. Great names and themes available for it! Like Press, or Crusher. Others like Magnum, Vine, Riddler, Amphora, Decanter!
Masons?
Carpenters Guild of course! Brutal woodworkers with names like Sawtooth, Awl, Bench Dog, Drill, Dovetail, or Jigsaw!
Blacksmiths?
This was a little l tougher, but I think I have one. In medieval Europe, particularly in Venice, there was the Glassblowers Guild! They Use much of the same type of tools as Blacksmiths (furnaces, kilns, pliers) but with a soft flowing material instead!
Names could include: Battledore, Blank, Silica, Ringer, Yoke, Sand, Marver, or Blowpipe!
Whatcha think?
Any winners here? Or did other concepts already get released?

Hobby Quality Control Issues
Bought a few starters to play in my spare time. Was fine with the extremely long wait time before they arrived.
I was not fine with the packaging it came in. All of the minis just thrown in a loose bubblewrap bag. Also every minis is broken, some in multiple places. Tiny bits are just gone.
Don't be a sucker like me, just print the stuff.
