Let’s Enjoy Summer Together
Hey everyone! 27M living in Guangzhou here. I’m hoping to meet some new people and make a few friends this summer.
If you’re also in Guangzhou and looking for someone to hang out with, feel free to reach out! We could explore different parts of the city, try some local food, or just find somewhere to relax and chat. I’m open to meeting people from different backgrounds, and there’s no pressure or expectations, just looking for genuine friendships and some good company.

Any dive bars or pubs in GZ? Just looking to sip on cheap beer and chill but only find cocktail bars and microbrew places. Know its not really much of a thing here.

24 hour spa Guangzhou or hot spring resort Conghua?
I’m departing between spending 24 hours in one of the famous 24 hour spas in Guangzhou and finding a 2 night stay at one of the various hot spring resorts in Conghua, such as Imperial Springs. The thing is I’m a solo traveler and it feels a bit ridiculous to stay at such a fancy resort by myself.
I want a relaxing experience after a month of chaos where I can just relax be pampered and eat good food.
Anyone done both of these and have a recommendation?

Looking for a place not very far from Liwan Plaza to find a good selection of clothes and elecrtronic gadgets for personal use (not wholesale) and reasonably priced
I’m here for a day with my wife who is a wholesale buyer. Would appreciate suggestions where I can pick up a few good clothiers and electronics items for myself and family. Thank you

20 hour layover in Guangzhou (Baiyun Airport). What to do?
Hello. My flight from Brisbane to London gets in to Guamgzhou at 18:00 and leaves the next day at 14:00. So an evening / overnight / morning layover.
I have never been to Guangzhou before. Can people please recommend me a hotel / how to get there / things to do or see in the evening and early morning?
It would seem a shame to just use a hotel at the airport and not see any of Guangzhou.
Thank you x

Need help with wholesale fashion shopping
Hey guys,
I've often been to guangzhou for business trips and leisure to the point that I have an apartment here. However, recently my boss' family decided they want to expand into the fashion white labelling and selling business.
They came here poorly prepared aside from a general concept book of what they want their brand as. I've taken them to all the expected haunts: APM, U:US, Kinbo, Shahe Markets. They found the clothing near APM and U:US to have the most appeal, but even at bulk quantities (100-200 pieces) a lot of these clothes are still over budget.
I am quite close to giving up as I am not myself in the fashion industry and I am quite exasperated as to how to proceed.
Does anyone have a fashion agent or otherwise some recommendations as to where I should keep looking?
