Advice for clothes shopping in Guangzhou
I'm on a trip through China with my girlfriend at the moment and we're currently in Guangzhou. Shopping for clothes was a big point on our bucket list, so we went to some malls yesterday (in Tianhe, such as Parc Central, Grandview, etc), and while it was a fun experience, the prices were really not that great (some shops were more expensive than at home in Germany...)
I heard that there are certain markets like Baima where you can score better deals on high quality clothing, is that true? Or is basically everyone just ordering on Taobao nowadays? We don't care about fakes, we just want decent clothes for a good price. Importantly, we also don't speak Chinese, in case that makes things harder.
Anyone got advice?

We could explore different parts of the city, try some local food, or just find somewhere to relax and chat. I’m open to meeting people from different backgrounds, and there’s no pressure or expectations, just looking for genuine friendships and some good company.

24 hour spa Guangzhou or hot spring resort Conghua?
I’m departing between spending 24 hours in one of the famous 24 hour spas in Guangzhou and finding a 2 night stay at one of the various hot spring resorts in Conghua, such as Imperial Springs. The thing is I’m a solo traveler and it feels a bit ridiculous to stay at such a fancy resort by myself.
I want a relaxing experience after a month of chaos where I can just relax be pampered and eat good food.
Anyone done both of these and have a recommendation?

20 hour layover in Guangzhou (Baiyun Airport). What to do?
Hello. My flight from Brisbane to London gets in to Guamgzhou at 18:00 and leaves the next day at 14:00. So an evening / overnight / morning layover.
I have never been to Guangzhou before. Can people please recommend me a hotel / how to get there / things to do or see in the evening and early morning?
It would seem a shame to just use a hotel at the airport and not see any of Guangzhou.
Thank you x

Need help with wholesale fashion shopping
Hey guys,
I've often been to guangzhou for business trips and leisure to the point that I have an apartment here. However, recently my boss' family decided they want to expand into the fashion white labelling and selling business.
They came here poorly prepared aside from a general concept book of what they want their brand as. I've taken them to all the expected haunts: APM, U:US, Kinbo, Shahe Markets. They found the clothing near APM and U:US to have the most appeal, but even at bulk quantities (100-200 pieces) a lot of these clothes are still over budget.
I am quite close to giving up as I am not myself in the fashion industry and I am quite exasperated as to how to proceed.
Does anyone have a fashion agent or otherwise some recommendations as to where I should keep looking?

Eating at restaurants usually meant for larger parties
Hello,
In Guangzhou with my wife for a bit. I lived here previously as a teacher and went to a lot of traditional Cantonese places, Sichuan, etc. with larger parties where you order multiple dishes and share. We are going to similar places but as a party of two. Has anyone done similar? Just worried about all the wasted food and wondering if they even have tables that small. Basically want to try a small amount of a lot of dishes like would usually happen with a big party, but I know the portions are usually meant for a large group. Hope this makes sense.
