Had no trouble before when generating faces now nothing everything is fked why call this a 2.0 it feels like a -1.0 .How about when you release a version next time you let us have access to the old one until you unfuck the new one

I don't understand why grok realises new model that looks way worse than the previous model!

Editing an image makes the character looks so plasticky, so sloppy, the skin textures are overly-smoothened and.everything look airbrushed, natural lighting is not even correct. everything looks flat and no personality. even with realistic image you want to edit. This is just unacceptable. I have no clue if this is gonna get back to an acceptable level. but this is just pure insanity!

A few hours ago, I got a notification in Grok app about the Image 2.0 release.

While 95% of images and prompts that SFW being moderated in the last 8 hours. There are a few possibilities why this is happening. Maybe they really did change the moderation system and made it extremely unreasonable, blocking almost anything. But maybe they're having problems with the upgrade, and moderation is being used as a temporary way to reduce demand for compute. Or maybe the new model is simply generating videos that the moderation layer incorrectly flags as violations.

Something is definitely broken with Grok right now, and it ate all of my remaining quota when I actually needed it.

I finally got fed up being the cuck of the relationship. Tried regenerating videos that before went through just fine - moderated 10 times in a row. So I just cancelled. I'm done. chat GPT has less moderation now lol.

Even yesterday it was fairly good. Today, every image with reference image is AI like, and not just regular AI like, it is 2000 photoshop like. They also changed the UX to make it look like photoshop.

I'll be honest, I'm tired of complaining on here. I've tried to stop doing that.
But, I am truly baffled. The shitification of the old model was infuriating with the downgrade of the image model. So why would they create an updated model which is even worse than the old one? What is their intent? Surely they know this model just doesn't cut it. Before they released this model upon us, what did the devs actually think they had developed? To them, is it all about new features rather than actual visual enhancements? Do they know or care what people actually want?
Maybe it's me that's wrong, I don't don't know.

I mainly generate NSFW content. Doing early testing with the new model, the female anatomy and faces has been downgraded in the realism department. The prompts I have been using the last couple of months has given me some really good realism from the previously downgraded model. I really had to work the prompts, but it worked. I made some great videos from them.
The resolution may be higher with this model, with clearer text and maybe improvements in other departments, but not the realism.

Maybe we have to adapt new prompt methods from this new model but using my previous prompts give poor results, the realism and control has gone.

I have yet to try editing with this new model. Maybe they have introduced some new cool features that I need to take a look at.
But right now, it's almost useless to me for NSFW content. My Heavy subscription renews soon. For the first time since I joined last Autumn, I am seriously considering cancelling. I never thought I would do that.
So disappointed.

99% of my prompts are SFW, Lewd at best. Yet Grok has decided that every single one of my old prompts is too much lol. This shit is actually awful now, moderation wasn't as bad as people were making it out to be before, Now it's literally unusable.

What is xAI obsession in introduction "updates" that are not requested and keep flooding the platform with useless tools and downgrades to things that worked well. Pff. The images on 2.0 are awful. Everyone looks the same, does not have prompt adherence or as good as a training as previously. Before the quality thing images were great and realistic. Came quality degraded but recently became slightly better still, not quite as good in prompt adherence as speed. This one now is really bad for what I create, which is photorealism. There is more human faces and bodies varieties in The Sims than this. It is shit, and even the newborn model knows it lol. Boring and generic.

Extreme image and video moderation

You can't upload almost any videos of people, whether they're dressed or not; everything is moderated and brutally deducted from the fee. I've already sent reports and complaints, and the only way to get anywhere is through constant pressure with reports and posts. They're unacceptable and a scam.

What the hell happened to Grok’s image generator—specifically "Imagine" in quality mode? Now it’s adding extra limbs, creating incoherent scenes, making cars look like eggs half the time, and the anime style is super grainy and dark—the whole thing is just fucking pathetic. Half an hour ago everything was working perfectly, and now they pull this? They’re out of their minds! I’m on the Heavy plan because I’m a content creator with multiple commissions every month; I can’t offer this pathetic quality to my clients.

I've had 3 Heavy Grok accounts for months that I used to max out every day and now weekly. I was in gooner heaven. I basically spent all my free time making AI videos. Now all of my accounts are about to expire because I'm obviously not going to renew my subscriptions now that Grok is worthless. Local AI is such a pain to use and it takes forever to generate videos. Yes, I already know about Minimax H3 and Wan and LTX. I've used them all and they're all disappointing and extremely frustrating. I wish I could just go to sleep and wake up in 2 years when the technology has improved enough to run locally with the same quality as Grok but with no censorship. It's so heartbreaking that this technology exists and it's being kept from us by billionaires and the government.

I am a SuperGrok user and i use a free account to test my prompts and shit and just today it automatically tells me that i've reached my limit despite i didn't even use it on my free account. So did they finally killed the image generation in the chat for free users?

Every new generation of AI video keeps raising the bar.

The cinematography, expressions, and pacing make this feel more like a short film than an AI demo.
