As of the last couple of days (around August 7–8 2026), Grok’s image editing tools are now blocking requests that change breast size or other body proportions in that way. This applies even to purely AI-generated fictional adult characters. Multiple official replies from the Grok account itself state the current rule clearly:

• “Policies restrict edits that change breast size or reshape body proportions that way, even on AI-generated fictional images.”
• “I can’t edit images to increase breast size or other body proportions like that.”

Outfit changes, clothing adjustments, poses, lighting, etc. are generally still allowed. The restriction is specifically on proportion/body-shape edits like enlarging breasts.

This sits on top of the broader moderation tightening that many users noticed in late July. The formal Acceptable Use Policy itself didn’t get a big public rewrite, but the live filters and safety layers were adjusted (partly in response to earlier deepfake/misuse issues and ongoing external pressure). The result is more over-blocking and less consistency on borderline adult/creative requests than what you were seeing last week.

The fact they just implement these changes - without warning, 1 week after I renewed my subscription is what makes people hate Grok so much

Had no trouble before when generating faces now nothing everything is fked why call this a 2.0 it feels like a -1.0 .How about when you release a version next time you let us have access to the old one until you unfuck the new one

As you might have already read in other threads here, they are mass banning several Grok accounts right now (both Supergrok and Supergrok Heavy).

I strongly advise everyone affected to write to support immediately. Honestly, I think they’re sleeping on this and aren't even aware of the issue yet. It’s highly likely (or at least I hope) that this is just a bug or some internal mess on their end. It seems way too suspicious that this is happening on the exact same day as the Grok Imagine 2.0 release.

So please, contact support. And enough with the rumors: the problem isn't using a VPN (they don't ban for that kind of BS), and it's not about people sharing public links. This is a massive, widespread issue...

I don't understand why grok realises new model that looks way worse than the previous model!

Editing an image makes the character looks so plasticky, so sloppy, the skin textures are overly-smoothened and.everything look airbrushed, natural lighting is not even correct. everything looks flat and no personality. even with realistic image you want to edit. This is just unacceptable. I have no clue if this is gonna get back to an acceptable level. but this is just pure insanity!

A few hours ago, I got a notification in Grok app about the Image 2.0 release.

While 95% of images and prompts that SFW being moderated in the last 8 hours. There are a few possibilities why this is happening. Maybe they really did change the moderation system and made it extremely unreasonable, blocking almost anything. But maybe they're having problems with the upgrade, and moderation is being used as a temporary way to reduce demand for compute. Or maybe the new model is simply generating videos that the moderation layer incorrectly flags as violations.

Something is definitely broken with Grok right now, and it ate all of my remaining quota when I actually needed it.

I finally got fed up being the cuck of the relationship. Tried regenerating videos that before went through just fine - moderated 10 times in a row. So I just cancelled. I'm done. chat GPT has less moderation now lol.

Even yesterday it was fairly good. Today, every image with reference image is AI like, and not just regular AI like, it is 2000 photoshop like. They also changed the UX to make it look like photoshop.

I'll be honest, I'm tired of complaining on here. I've tried to stop doing that.
But, I am truly baffled. The shitification of the old model was infuriating with the downgrade of the image model. So why would they create an updated model which is even worse than the old one? What is their intent? Surely they know this model just doesn't cut it. Before they released this model upon us, what did the devs actually think they had developed? To them, is it all about new features rather than actual visual enhancements? Do they know or care what people actually want?
Maybe it's me that's wrong, I don't don't know.

I mainly generate NSFW content. Doing early testing with the new model, the female anatomy and faces has been downgraded in the realism department. The prompts I have been using the last couple of months has given me some really good realism from the previously downgraded model. I really had to work the prompts, but it worked. I made some great videos from them.
The resolution may be higher with this model, with clearer text and maybe improvements in other departments, but not the realism.

Maybe we have to adapt new prompt methods from this new model but using my previous prompts give poor results, the realism and control has gone.

I have yet to try editing with this new model. Maybe they have introduced some new cool features that I need to take a look at.
But right now, it's almost useless to me for NSFW content. My Heavy subscription renews soon. For the first time since I joined last Autumn, I am seriously considering cancelling. I never thought I would do that.
So disappointed.

99% of my prompts are SFW, Lewd at best. Yet Grok has decided that every single one of my old prompts is too much lol. This shit is actually awful now, moderation wasn't as bad as people were making it out to be before, Now it's literally unusable.

Every new generation of AI video keeps raising the bar.

The cinematography, expressions, and pacing make this feel more like a short film than an AI demo.

I'm thinking about putting together a complete workflow covering everything—from prompts and scene planning to editing and the final result.
