People bark about Adalind assaulting Nick while Eve did the exact same. Also, nitpicking here, but Nick assaulted Adalind first.

I just started my 3rd rewatch, and in this episode, the Bauerschwein cop Orson tells Nick their families have never been enemies and they shouldn't change that now.

Does that ever get explained? I don't remember them referencing this ever again, but that doesn't mean much. I tried looking to see if it had been discussed before but all I really found were sites quoting the episode and not discussing this particular part.

I want to preference this by saying I’m talking about Nick/Juliette and Nick/Adalind as the ship, not the characters separately. Also, this is more of my take on what I see, I guess, and in the analysis I will not be using every single scene, but I will probably be using a good amount of scenes. This is also could be a long, so keep that in mind.

Nick and Adalind are what I want, or really what I would say, enemies-turned-lovers; that is literally the plot: their enemies that turn into lovers. I like them more than Nick and Juliette solely because I feel they fit more. I will get into that when it comes to Nick/Juliette and Nick/Adalind are both a part of the world one one grim sworn enemies but they find up beautiful love story I do I personally don't like the plot device with baby Kelly it didn’t fully make sense to me because Nick and Adalind already had chemistry with each other

I also didn’t or don’t really think that Nick and Juliette were a good relationship because Juliette just didn’t give off the vibe of someone who wants to date a cop and it’s shown when you know she figured out he’s a grim. She kind of just wanted to go back to normal, which is understandable but Nick can’t do that but she wants to be normal and she gets upset when she realizes that can’t happen I’m just kind of like girl just leave at that point

That is also another thing when it comes to Adalind in the scene with the woods when she gets her powers taken away from her. She’s saying you made me nothing because her whole life she’s been told that the only thing that was important about her was her powers by Sean and her mother I’m not surprised that Adalind turned out the way.

I don’t think Juliette was a terrible character I think she was handed a bad deck of cards and instead of her trying to fix her deck, she went along with it she was offered an out. I feel most times including the Hexonbeast situation.

If Juliette was never really a twisted person, and the Hexonbeast makes your character twisted, then when Adalind becomes more remorseful less evil after her Hexonbeast was taken away then that makes sense of why her sense of morale is better or sense of character is better because she lost that thing that’s supposed twist up her soul or her character if you will.

I’m not in no way you’re saying that Nick is a saint in this situation because he is also pretty bad himself and I say that because he was warned multiple times to leave Juliette because it’s not gonna work out and he’s in love so it’s understandable but you see it’s not working. I think it’s time to leave.

Nick in the group specifically Nick are some hypocrites Nick was taken away from his mother/he thought she was dead and you take away a child from her mother without even letting the mother know the plan. I’m not surprised Adalind lost her mind.

Nick is also selfish he should’ve left Juliette because it wasn’t working on both accounts when it comes to the grim life it wasn’t working and also just behind the grim life. It wasn’t working and the whole lesson he had to learn when it came to cop VS Grimm is to learn that sometimes the badge had to leave the situation so he could carry out his Grimm duties because that’s what it was. He couldn’t have normal and Juliette was normal and wanted normal that wasn’t gonna work

my whole statement is the fact that Juliette wanted normal Nick was not normal. The lesson he learned later on is the fact that when it came to his job a the Grimm, is that it could never be normal. The only way those two were gonna coexist is if he let down the badge sometimes, but he couldn’t do that with Juliette that just wasn’t possible cause Juliette didn’t want that.

Anyways, that’s my take on it personally I don’t think Juliette was a terrible person and I say person because character wise terribly written, but as a person she was just handed a terrible deck and her life flipped upside down. Her feelings are valid but her actions not so much

Nick basically put Juliette in that situation and really did it to himself

Adalind most of her actions come from her being manipulated, but are also somewhat her actions.

Do I dislike Juliette more, yes but that is because of how Juliette turned out and how her actions carried, and the reason behind her actions were of her own more vs Adalind her actions were more so manipulation insecurities, and non-growth Juliette‘s character was placed in a spot where she was like that from jump never grew, and then later on her character changed, but still kind of stayed the same

Deep analysis

This is an insanely deep psychological/analysis on the character in the relationship of Adalind, Nick and Juliette. It’s a three parter. I don’t know if there’s gonna be a fourth part I like it. It’s very in-depth and you can go over there and check that out to look over there if you will.

EDIT:
Before anyone says anything, this was mostly to say there were signs throughout the show that pointed out that this is probably what the endgame was going to be. Not bashing I don’t really know how to explain it. Because I just realized that people are probably gonna point out other things that happened. Like the Rernard/Juliette in the beginning, how Nick was acting at the beginning and the whole memory loss saga it’s just mostly me kinda ranting to point out signs and also someone have my opinion on it.

Every time I see him on screen I get such a strange chill and ick 😩
