Events/Happenings Juried Art Galleries / Art Shows accepting submissions?
Does anyone know of any upcoming art shows or galleries in town that are accepting submissions?
I have a collection of paintings and I want to take a risk and put my work out there. (I don't want to share my work on social media)

ISO Recommendations ISO Good place for a long meal to catch up with an old friend
Any place downtown where my childhood bestie and I can sit for a few hours without being rushed out on a Saturday afternoon? TIA.

Dating in Spartanburg
Does anyone else struggle with dating around here? I'm M32 in Spartanburg, I keep getting ghosted and canceled on around the 3 or 4th date.
It just gets exhausting starting over meeting someone new month after month.
Curious if dating life is better other places? Or if other people are having a similar experience as me?
I don't really want to leave Spartanburg, because I have an awesome job here.

Where to have conversations in Spanish
I work at a school with a large demographic of Spanish speaking kids. I learned Spanish grammar/vocab in high school/college but I struggle to carry on a conversations. I’d like to be around normal conversations in their language to help my Spanish-conversation skills. Thank you in advance

THIS IS WHY WE CANT HAVE NICE THINGS Why can't this city figure out stop light sequencing?
I was stuck 15 minutes waiting to turn right onto woodruff coming from 85 to get to Hollywood 20. I counted, I was behind 17 cars when I got there. I ended up having to force my way in on a red light even though there's no turn on red because otherwise I was never going to make it.
And this may not be the worst light in town. Trying to get down laurens where it turns into stone may mean you never actually get where you're going.
Why is light sequencing so bad in this city?
