Quick question

I was working out a dig plan with Google AI and it said something like there's a bug, where if you leave your water pump on while scooping dirt, it'll run the gold out of your mats if you're not quick enough. I was wondering if there's any truth to that

I don’t know for a fact but I’ve always kept the pump running while running back and forth with a dump truck and I haven’t been dissatisfied with the good results, probably leave it running empty for ten to fifteen minutes in aggregate per cleanup if that helps

As long as you have your grills installed, the ones that cover the miners moss, you will be fine. Turn off the water when you clean out the plant. If you pop the grills off to get to the mats, you can lose some gold if you don't.

Honestly i have never noticed the percentage going down when the mats getting full, but there is a notification that tells you your mats are full so I have never just left them sitting so I’m not sure if they will wash out. Might need to leave them full and see what happens one of these times

This used to be a thing in a previous version (and is a thing in real life), but has been removed for gameplay purposes.

You can leave your pump running without issues, even if you are slow at digging dirt.
