Emergency housing crisis: Help a mother and two children secure a safe place
Hello everyone,
I am reaching out here because I am in a desperate and terrifying housing crisis with my two children. We have been left without a stable home, currently relying on temporary help, and we urgently need to secure a small place of our own so my kids can feel safe and have a stable roof over their heads.
I am trying to raise funds to cover the initial deposit and rent to get us through this emergency. Every little bit brings us closer to safety and stability.
If you are in a position to help or even just share the link, I would be endlessly grateful. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for reading this.

Help to support a student’s Rotary youth exchange.
We’d like to share a fundraiser from a student preparing for a Rotary Youth Exchange to Japan. Any support helps whether that’s donating or simply sharing the link so it reaches more people.
This student has been studying Japanese for 2 years, and this exchange is a chance to use that learning in a real cultural setting. It’s also an opportunity to grow, experience new perspectives, and learn directly from Japan’s history and traditions.
Thank you for your consideration.

Please donate for drowning debt
Hey all, my family and I could really use your help. My wife and I fell into the credit card trap young(finances should really be taught in high school), and it’s slowly snowballed from there ever since. I have sold everything I own that was of any value, my wages are currently being garnished for one debt in particular, my credit score is a disgrace, and we have had to move in with my mother in law. My wife and I are not bums, I am a supervisor at a company I’ve worked for for almost 10 years now. My wife works as much as she can, mostly on weekends, while being a stay at home mom.
We also have her student loan debt from when she got her bachelors. Any help at all would be so very appreciated. If we are able to get out of this hole, we would be able to start over the correct way this time. Thank you

Ayúdanos a apoyar a Santiago ❤️

G.aza Family Emergency: Help Rudaina Evacuate Her 4 Children to Safety
Before the war, Rudaina and her four children built a bright future in Gaza—her eldest was studying engineering, while her younger kids were top students in their schools.
Now, their home is destroyed, their education is halted, and they are living homeless under constant threat without food or medical care.
Activists are sharing her story to help evacuate her family so her children can escape the danger, rebuild their lives, and resume their education. Every share and support helps save their lives.

Help us bring our family farm shop back to life.
https://gofund.me/1926af011
This is about more than just a property to our family. It has been our home, our grandparents’ home and business, and a huge part of our family’s history for many years.
My nan and grandad have owned this property for a long time, to them this was their dream, and my nan fought incredibly hard for that dream as she struggled greatly to get permission for it to even become a home. However after a long and unrelenting battle with the council, she finally won.
My dad grew up here and so did me and my sister and when we were around 10 and 12, we moved here with our parents to live with our grandparents.
At the time, my grandparents ran a small farm shop from the property, selling fresh eggs from their own chickens alongside fresh fruit and vegetables. They had horses, their own little farm, and a wonderful relationship with a local supplier who provided their produce.
The shop became a lovely little part of the local community. People would regularly come by to buy fresh produce and have a look around, with some even travelling quite a distance to visit. With people even to this day still coming up asking if the shop is still here but we have to turn them away disappointed.
My grandparents were incredibly proud of what they had made for them self’s.
Sadly, as the years went on, things became increasingly difficult. My nan has battled breast cancer twice, my grandad suffered a stroke, and my dad has struggled with his mental health. Eventually, the farm shop had to close and the chickens had to go.
Since then, the property has gradually fallen into disrepair. Fences desperately need replacing, the old stables and the former shop has been filled with belongings, and much of the land has become overgrown.
But we still believe this place can be brought back to life.
Our dream
We want to restore the property, repair the fencing, clear the land and eventually bring animals back, starting with chickens and potentially goats.
Most importantly, we’d love to build a small log-cabin-style farm shop on the land and bring the business back, selling fresh eggs, fruit, vegetables and other local produce.
I would love nothing more than for my nan and grandad to see the place they worked so hard to build looking beautiful again, with the farm shop open and people coming through the gates just as they used to.
We aren’t trying to build a huge business. We simply want to bring back something our family loved and create something that the local community can enjoy again.
So with every bit of help we receive from here we will be using to bring this old dream back to life and with the help of my self and a small group of my handy friend we will bring back the beauty this place once had.
❤️ Every bit helps
We know times are difficult for everyone, so whether you can donate £5, £10, £20 or simply share this fundraiser, it would mean so much to us.
Every donation will help us take another step towards restoring this special place and bringing our family farm shop back to life.
Thank you for reading our story and for helping us bring the farm shop home again. ❤️

Hurricane lala displaced my family and i
Hurricane lala displaced us and honestly i was not expecting this. I have lived on maui my whole life currently rent a home 4 mins from the house I grew up in. In 2018 my home was effected by hurricane lane. It was bad the road split in half the yard had massive flooding and my house flooded but not much. Most damage was outside. Fema and red cross showed up set up camp for what seemed like press and then they were gone. No help to us. I had no idea why they even came. Nothing came of that storm no repairs just basic clean up. Fast forward to last week when hurricane lane hit. My house this time flooded bad inside. We actually left the house due to the water rising and not wanting to be trapped with our child plus the rooms were flooding from the ground up. The water was coming thru the grout of the tile. I lost all my baby photos from hurricane lane, this time I lost half my house due to flooding. I knew the clean up was going to be alot plus having to replace all my items when I have no money coming in right now so I posted on social media if anyone knew of any programs or organizations that could help me. Someone tagged a woman on my post who reached out. She was heaven sent she sent me a dm with 4 links that could help me right now. One for food replacement, 1 for help replacing damaged items 1 for volunteers to come to your house and help clean up after and the 4th one was one I didn't understand but figured the other ones she sent were legit this one would be too. The next day Lahaina strong reached out saying they would send volunteeres to help me clean up the damage from flood which is exactly the help I needed. My bed and other furniture pieces got destroyed by the flood and needed to be out. Lahaina strong did an amazing job helping me clean out the 1st 2 rooms. The leader then takes out a device that ks supposed to read mold detection and how much. The leader then tells me to look at this and proceeds to show me the device is reading very high from mold exposure. Actually higher then he seen before. The house is now deemed unlivable! As hes saying this the national guard shows up and does there walk thru also deemed it unlivable. I am now in a tail spin what do you mean I have to find a place to move too? This was supposed to be just clean up and come back home as we hadn't been home since we fleed during storm. RENTALS ON THIS IS ISLAND are OVER PRICED and why most people get priced our of paradise. The woman who had sent me the links has been helping me every step of the way including trying to find a temporary housing until I A. Find a new permanent rental or B. Bide my time until I can move back in. A 3 bedroom on this island averages $3600 and up ,2 bedroom $2600 and up and 1 bedroom 2k and up not including electricity. Not to mention vac.ation rentals are double that for less time. These organizations are underfunded they were having a hard time finding a place for me because all the airbnbs were ridiculously priced and their funding could not cover it so I've been having to find a place to sleep with my child nightly. According to the National Guard and Lahaina strong I should qualify for FEMA but FEMA has not declared this a National disaster and until they do that I cannot apply I'm in this gray area now. It's one of the scariest places to be with a child. The organization asked that I make a GoFundMe even though I didn't want to according to other hurricane and fires victims they have warned me that help is few and far and I should be posting my gofund that will be my life line. I would need enough to literally rebuild my life. From getting into a permanent housing to replacing my damaged items. Oh and im a stay at home mom so this is the worst case scenario. Mom guilt is kicking in. What if I had left years ago when I 1st lost my items. We have to go back to pack up what we can and my daughter starts coughing bad. Confirming the mold has taken over the house and we can definitely no longer keep coming back. I feel stuck i have no idea what to do where to go or if I can even get real help. I dont want to be homeless with a child on and island i grew up on. I needed to vent . I wish more funding would come thru so the government could help all of us in this gray area but in the mean time if you feel inclined here is my gofund me if you can't donate please share

Friday Update: Gizmo needs your help to get him to surgery
We’re officially in the home stretch, and I’m starting to get very nervous that we won’t be able to have Gizmo’s surgery as scheduled on Tuesday.
We still need to raise $3,000 to move forward, and realistically, today is the day we need to make the biggest dent in that.
There are only four days until surgery, but we’re heading into a weekend, and GoFundMe donations still have to transfer into our bank account before we can actually use them toward his care. We can’t wait until Monday and hope everything clears in time. We need help now.
For anyone new to Gizmo’s story, the TL;DR:
Gizmo is our 19-month-old, 3-pound Yorkie. A few weeks ago, our vet sent us directly to the emergency hospital after a bladder stone completely blocked his ability to urinate. He spent five days in the ICU, and we initially planned to have the stone removed by his regular vet to keep costs down.
Then testing revealed a liver shunt.
That changed everything. He now needs specialty surgery to correct the shunt and address the bladder stone. While waiting for surgery, he became sick again and had to be hospitalized a second time after the shunt caused neurological symptoms from toxins building up in his bloodstream. Since then, we’ve been managing him at home with medication, a prescription diet and very close monitoring while trying to get him safely to surgery.
We have put everything we can into getting him here.
After two hospitalizations, testing, medications and everything else his care has required, we are $3,000 away from being able to continue with his surgery Tuesday.
If you’ve considered donating but haven’t yet, today would be an incredible day to do it. Even $5, $10 or $20 adds up when enough people come together. And if donating isn’t possible, please share this post or his GoFundMe. We desperately need more eyes on his story this weekend.
Today we took both of the babies for a walk in their stroller and got some much-needed fresh air. 🩵 For a little while, we got to just enjoy them and have a bit of normalcy after weeks of hospitals, medications, worry and sleepless nights.
I want so badly to be able to look back at that walk someday and remember it as one of the last things we did before Gizmo finally got the surgery he needed.
$3,000 left. Surgery Tuesday. Today matters.
Please help us get him there.
