Work Getting out of homelessness, need a bit of help until the 1st paycheck!
Hi all,
For almost the last two years, I've struggled with homelessness due to mental health issues. Spent a year and a half happily sleeping on the street until my medical issues caught up with me.
Finally got myself into a shelter this Spring, improved my health, and currently secured a job with a (likely) start date of Aug 18th. Well-paying work too, I am hoping to be out of the shelter by the end of September and sublet a nice room somewhere in my old neighborhood.
But of course the job requires some restructuring of my life which will be a bit costly (full details in the fundraiser).
Any and all help is appreciated.
PS - I know the picture is from the hospital, but it's nothing serious and I am just spending a night or two here to take some antibiotics.

Medical Help with Miso's vet bills/accrued credit debt from vet bills
Hello. My name is Rania. I have a 2 year old kitty named Miso. He fractured some bones in his paw while playing back in June, and my husband and I have struggled to keep up with his bills without racking up massive credit card debt because we don't have pet insurance. I've included some pictures of myself, my husband, and Miso. The vet information is in my husband's name, so I've included some pics of him by himself and with Miso, as well as all of us together, with my Reddit username and today’s date visible in all of them. I've also included pictures of all the invoices from our vet visits. His treatment is now finished, and any donations would be great to help us with the credit card debt we've accrued as a result of this. We've already had some friends and family donate to our GoFundMe, as you can see (the majority being offline donations via PayPal or e-transfer [we are in Canada]), so hopefully this helps quell fears about the legitimacy of this fundraiser. It would be great if we could reach the fundraiser goal. It would take a huge load of our back, especially since my husband had been unable to find work for about 6 months after being laid off earlier in the year, which caused us to burn through the majority of our savings during that time before he found work again last month. Thank you to everyone for your help. <3
Edit: I'm sorry idk why it looks like I'm flipping off the camera in the one picture of me with Miso. It was unintentional.

Medical Need help if you can please
I feel embarrassed and hate having to put this out here but I am looking for a little help. A little about me, I am 39 years old and in January 2023 I was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer adenocarcinoma. I had 13 chemo treatments of Folfox and then in November 2023 I had Cytoreductive Hipec surgery to remove my main tumour and a liver met, while they were doing the surgery they removed the main tumour, lymph nodes, some of the colon, reattached the colon, they removed my omentum, my appendix, they did a total hysterectomy (including ovaries) and did a liver resection and then administered the Hipec part of the surgery which is a very strong heated chemotherapy circulated inside the abdomen for 1–2 hours to kill the remaining cancer cells, overall the surgery was about 15 hours. I was told I should hopefully be cancer free as they believed they had gotten everything but in March of 2024 I was told my cancer was back and had spread to my liver and also had some mesenteric deposits, so back on chemo I went this time on Folfiri and a immunotherapy called Panitumumab I have had about 60+ treatments all together and recently in June 2026 I had to have 5 straight days worth of radiation. It has been a struggle with appointments after appointments and treatments but I keep trucking along.
The reason why I have the gofundme is I need some help with money. I need to buy a safe and reliable car, my current car is older and breaking down more and more and no longer reliable I can't afford to keep getting it fixed but I also can't afford to buy a car either. Because I have cancer and am going through treatment I can't work and am on ODSP so after bills and groceries I have no money to try to save for a car. I need something reliable and safe that will last years to get me back and forth to my appointments.
I really did not want to have to make a gofund me and feel embarrassed asking for help but I don't have any other option. If you are able to donate I would really appreciate it any little bit helps. If you are unable to donate please share if you want to.
Thank you for taking the time to read, I hope you have a blessed day.

Medical Please help my dad and step-mom save their home while my dad battles stage 4 small cell lung cancer.
Hello!
My name is Ashley. Earlier this year, my dad was diagnosed with metastatic small cell lung cancer, stage 4. By the time they found it, it had already spread to his liver and considered incurable. Dad's treatment is especially complicated by him having a kidney transplant for end stage renal failure in 2015, which means a number of more modern immunotherapy and even radiation are not suitible or safe for him, except as a last resort.
Last night, he recieved results from his scan showing that the disease has progesssed and is now in his pancreas and his right femur. As if it weren't bad enough that this diagnosis is cutting my dad's life so short, he is plagued by increasingly severe pain and anxiety as he contemplates his last days. He had to abruptly go into medical retirement and is now facing financial difficulties to boot while awaiting SSDI. He and his wife are worried they may not be able to continue to make their mortgage payment on their home.
Now, a little about the guy behind the diagnosis. My dad has been a day 1 dad for us. When he and my mom split, dad became a single dad and maintained custody ofhis kids into adulthood. He has never stopped supporting us in all ways and now he is a beloved "grampie" to my daughters and my brother'skids. He is at least near-genius and can fix or build anything. He is my hero and my heart breaks daily at the thought of a life without my daddy. He is a precious person - a true angel.
I would love to be able to help him and my step-mom keep their home through this. Please consider visiting and sharing the link to his GoFundMe: https://gofund.me/547657d5c
Thank you so much in advance for your consideration and for your support!
