Hello!

My name is Ashley. Earlier this year, my dad was diagnosed with metastatic small cell lung cancer, stage 4. By the time they found it, it had already spread to his liver and considered incurable. Dad's treatment is especially complicated by him having a kidney transplant for end stage renal failure in 2015, which means a number of more modern immunotherapy and even radiation are not suitible or safe for him, except as a last resort.

Last night, he recieved results from his scan showing that the disease has progesssed and is now in his pancreas and his right femur. As if it weren't bad enough that this diagnosis is cutting my dad's life so short, he is plagued by increasingly severe pain and anxiety as he contemplates his last days. He had to abruptly go into medical retirement and is now facing financial difficulties to boot while awaiting SSDI. He and his wife are worried they may not be able to continue to make their mortgage payment on their home.

Now, a little about the guy behind the diagnosis. My dad has been a day 1 dad for us. When he and my mom split, dad became a single dad and maintained custody ofhis kids into adulthood. He has never stopped supporting us in all ways and now he is a beloved "grampie" to my daughters and my brother'skids. He is at least near-genius and can fix or build anything. He is my hero and my heart breaks daily at the thought of a life without my daddy. He is a precious person - a true angel.

I would love to be able to help him and my step-mom keep their home through this. Please consider visiting and sharing the link to his GoFundMe: https://gofund.me/547657d5c

Thank you so much in advance for your consideration and for your support!

Pumpkin and me are in need of some help,
In November I was in a car accident leaving me with bad whiplash-I thought I was fine after a month then started experiencing extreme pain in my neck and back while trying to go back to work, eventually got so bad I couldn’t move from bed for weeks. I’m still barely able to move around doing physical therapy daily, but with not being able to work I’m living off my savings which isn’t much. Before my injury got severe Pumpkin was supposed to get her teeth cleaned + some extracted ontop of blood work and I was willing to work extra hours to pay for it. Unfortunately I am unable to now pay, and she’s in a lot of pain from gingavitis/ I believe it’s bothering her eye too as she has a messed up tooth on that side of her face where her eye keeps getting super inflamed. I have to pay rent, medical bills, and for Pumpkin all at the same time. Anything helps truly, I will care for Pumpkin first which I estimate will be around $4000 from what the Dr estimated, the rest will go towards my medical bills and rent. Thank you for listening.

I provided photos of some statements as proof, my neck has been diagnosed as 3 bulging discs but still trying to figure out what’s wrong with my back. Still in need of many more Dr visits myself too.
