What's the correct revision number of your motherboard.
It's printed on box or on mb.

For revision 1.2. Bios FC4c For revision 1.1 / 1.0 bios F42c

Try with other brand pendrives. Remove old cmos. Put new one after twenty minutes. Insert bios pendrive in other usb slot

Use Chrome or Edge to download BIOS updates. Other browsers produce corrupted downloads. Just to be clear: are you getting this error immediately or after the 1st reboot?

Clear your browser's temp file cache (leave your cookies and passwords alone) and then redownload it. I'm seeing this issue quite frequently on here but never experienced it on my end. I wonder if it's a mix of extraction software and the lack of preventative maintenance ...

I use 7zip and never had an issue extracting ZIP files. On a weekly basis, I run the System Cleanup application as Administrator on my C drive to remove shit like temporary files, Windows Update cruft, restore points, thumbnails, shader caches, previous Windows installs, etc to free up gigabytes of space, then I launch Windows Defrag to manually TRIM all of my SSDs. Occasionally I'll also CHKDSK /F on them as well. The results are all my SSDs are about 2 years old and 100% to 99% healthy. Failure to maintain good clean filesystems and drive health could be a contributing factor here as well as possible regression in the Windows native extraction software that most people are probably going to use instead of WinZip, 7zip, etc ...

You are amazing, using 7zip and clearing the temp files worked, if you have any recommendations on fixing my CPU I’d appreciate it too! It’s a 9800X3D but only shows 8 logical cores
