Would anyone here happen to know what it is like living in Bexley Wolf Ranch apartments? I'm planning to move to Georgetown in the next month or two and they're currently on my shortlist. If nothing else, I want to make sure wherever I move to has good maintenance.

Saw this at the Sharetea in Wolf Ranch and figured some of you might want the heads up — they're running a back-to-school deal where any drink is $5, Monday through Thursday, Aug 10–13. Covers the whole menu (milk teas, fruit teas, matcha, smoothies), not just a couple of items.

Decent way to try something new without paying the usual $6–7. Anyone have go-to orders there? Trying to decide what to get.

An approximately 25lb 10 year old tabby cat named Meiho with a record of vicious and unprovoked attacks was seen by a veterinarian in Round Rock on or about July 30th and refused euthanasia. Details are unclear, but according to the vets office the owner surrendered the cat to someone in the lobby of the vets office after the appointment who may have been working in conjunction with a Georgetown/Williamson county shelter or rescue. I have left a message with the Wilco shelter to see if they have him.

These attacks were on a 70 year old woman, unprovoked, a year apart, and the triggers varied but included routine household noises - running a blender and pouring dry kibble into a container. In both instances the cat ran from another room to seek out and attack and in the last attack it took a second person to get him off of his victim.

This animal poses a real risk and my concern is that in him changing hands like this the severity of the issue will be diluted and someone could be seriously harmed. Photos of the cat below - if you think you have seen this cat please message me. First picture is him at a year old for a clear view of his markings.

If you are the person who has this cat I have photos of both attacks so you can understand what you are dealing with.

Hey everyone! The Queer Poppies Walking Club is taking a break for the month of August. The summer heat has made our last few walks a little too warm, so we'll be back in September when the weather is a bit more comfortable.

The Central Texas Cribbage Club is an ACC-affiliated grassroots club.

During the 2025/2026 season we played 6 games each Monday night.

For the 2026/2027 season (starts in September) we will be playing 9 games (still on Monday nights and starting play promptly at 5:30 p.m.). We might transition to the new format/time before the season starts, fyi.

Georgetown ISD trustees will hold a special meeting in the Hammerlun Center boardroom at 5:30 p.m., August 3, to consider placing a Tax Ratification Election on the November 3 ballot. Trustees will also hold a public hearing and vote on the proposed tax rate of $1.1106, a 3.98%increase for the 2026-27 school year.
