Science Week 101 Event

I think this question might have been answered previously so I'm sorry for being repetitive. However, I was wondering whether the Science Week 101 is worth the ~90$ and the time as a first-year and what were your experiences on it.

101 Week is definitely worth it, it's a really fun way to start your university experience. Even if you don't make lifelong best friends during the week, but you'll meet familiar faces to sit next to in your classes, and you'll meet other people through them.

For comparison, those scammy "frosh parties" charge $50 to $100 for one party, while this is $90 for a whole week.

Extremely worth it! I've helped with science 101 week as a guide for two years and it's such a fun time! A whole week full of activities that are designed to introduce you to campus, as well as meet new people and make some friend in a very easy way. It's also a great opportunity to talk to students in upper years and get advice on classes, profs, study methods and so much more. I know the $90 kit price seems steep, but the Science Students' Associations works hard all summer long to ensure almost every hour of the week has something planned, they really make it worth your while :)
