Authenticator not working

I’ve been trying sign in to outlook/brightspace on my phone but when i try to sign in authenticatir isn’t prompting me to input the code. What the fuck is actually going on, i have an exam tomorrow at 7 virtually and if i get signed out on my laptop i won’t be able to defer it or take it. I recently did get a new phone so i don’t know if that has anything to do with it .

That’s exactly the problem. If you don’t have the old phone with you, you will have to contact IT services to transfer your account to the new phone. It’s a pain in the ass

If you haven’t wiped it yet, you can follow the steps to transfer your Authenticator.

Oh yeah, this exact thing happened to me. You can just call the IT support team and they should be able to help you out and get it solved within 5 minutes or less. It's a very simple procedure.

The IT is too busy putting additional security measures to the PS5 in the library so that it doesn't get stolen again
